Two former Politico reporters, Marc Caputo and Tara Palmeri, claimed there was a significant bias in the media towards protecting Joe Biden prior to the 2020 presidential election.

During a recent podcast, the reporters said Politico deliberately avoided or suppressed negative stories concerning the former president and his son, Hunter Biden, Knewz.com can reveal.

Caputo told the host of the Axios podcast: “Politico did that terrible, ill-fated headline: ’51 intelligence agents, or former intelligence agents, say that the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation.’

“Turns out that story was closer to disinformation because the Hunter Biden laptop appeared to be true.”

The former Politico reporter told his editor the outlet needed to “write about the Hunter Biden laptop” but was instructed, per orders from “on high” at the outlet.

Caputo mentioned another incident from 2019 when his report on a tax lien related to the Biden son’s Burisma income was also suppressed without explanation by Politico editors.

He claimed: “The only thing Politico wound up writing was that piece that called it disinformation.

“That story was killed by the editors. And they gave no explanation.”

The reluctance of many media outlets to address these issues promptly is often justified by the need for thorough fact-checking or concerns stemming from past election interference by foreign entities.

Other outlets validated the facts related to the Hunter Biden story, proving them to be accurate.

51 former intelligence officials who discredited The New York Post’s report as a “Russian information operation”, provided a shield for the media. However, recent revelations suggest this letter was orchestrated by the Biden campaign, particularly Antony Blinken, with the alleged intention of influencing the election outcome.

Politico’s headline has never been corrected – despite the FBI and other federal officials and whistleblowers acknowledging in the years since that the emails’ contents were authentic.

The refusal of ex-CIA director John Brennan and other intelligence officials to acknowledge the veracity of the laptop story, despite confirmation by the FBI, has raised concerns about their trustworthiness with many in the public.

President Donald Trump even decided to revoke Brennan and other spies’ security clearances in response to their misleading statements.

The former head of the CIA whines about the president’s decision during a recent interview with MSNBC’s Andrew Mitchell.

Brennan said: “(Trump) misrepresented the facts in that executive order because it said that we had suggested that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation.

“No, we said it was one of the hallmarks of Russian information operations, including the dumping of accurate information, which is what we said in that letter.”

Joe Biden has suffered yet another embarrassment during his farewell speech as he prepares to wave goodbye to the White House in just a few short days.

Knewz.com can reveal the soon-to-be former president was spotted using a pillow to boost his height before he slurred his words during his final message from the Oval Office.

On Wednesday night, Biden, 81, listed off his achievements and sent out a final warning during his 17-minute-long speech to the American people.

However, the American people weren’t focused on what Biden had to say — they were focused on what was behind the camera.

Pictures from behind the desk showed Biden propping himself up using a cushion, with a box of Kleenex tissues also spotted nearby.

Social media users were quick to call out the humiliation.

One user wrote: “PAINFUL: Behind-the-scenes photo of Joe Biden’s Farewell Address shows him needing to sit on a pillow inside the Oval Office with an emergency box of Kleenex hidden under his desk. One final and total humiliation.

Another said: “Joe Biden had to sit on a pillow to keep his posture straight while giving his farewell speech tonight.”

A third wrote: “NEW: Behind-the-scenes photo of Joe Biden’s Farewell Address from the Oval Office shows him sitting on a pillow with an emergency box of Kleenex hidden under his desk. A humiliating end to a disastrous presidency.”

A fourth penned: “SAD: Joe Biden sits on a pillow during his farewell address, with an emergency box of Kleenex hidden on the desk.”

During his speech, Biden didn’t mention Trump by name but spoke of his desire to have a peaceful transition of power.

In November 2024, Trump beat his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the historic 2024 presidential election.

Trump will be inaugurated on Monday at noon surrounded by family, former presidents, and other political figures.

Biden warned how the U.S. is threatened by a so-called oligarchy, who have unchecked influences, during his speech.

He stated: “Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power, and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead.

“We must not be bullied into sacrificing the future.”

Despite not mentioning Trump by name, Biden also seemed to swipe at the President-elect, who was impeached twice, indicted four times, and convicted in Manhattan – but had federal charges against him dropped after he won the election.

On January 9, Trump was sentenced to an “unconditional discharge,” which meant the president-elect would not be imprisoned, not pay a steep fine, and not serve probation after being found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

In Biden’s speech, he said the Constitution must be amended to “make clear that no president” is “immune from the crimes that he or she commits while in office.”

He added: “A president’s power is not limited. It’s not absolute, and it shouldn’t be.”

Joe Biden has “launched a dirty, sneaky plot” to disrupt Donald Trump‘s first day in the White House, according to new claims.

Knewz.com can reveal the out-going president’s controversial moves include changing the order of succession in federal agencies so pro-Biden staffers will be in charge before Trump’s nominees can be confirmed, and enacting federal rules that will take the new administration months to overturn.

The White House has also doled out billions in federal funds on clean energy initiatives and other Biden priorities.

The surprise changes come after Biden, 82, previously pledged he would be cooperative with the incoming administration.

Ezra Cohen, a former Undersecretary of Defense for Trump and a current Hudson fellow, said: “They’re playing dirty during the transition period. When President Trump’s going to be in office, dealing with actual, real problems … now he has to deal with stuff like this.

“It’s just bad for America that they’re doing this.”

Although Cohen conceded none of it is “insurmountable,” he emphasized the moves were “just about throwing sand in the gears to try to interfere with President Trump.”

The Biden administration simply claims it’s just securing the president’s legacy.

Biden is giving two speeches during his final week in office that are designed to defend his tenure. And his social media accounts have been actively tossing out ambitious claims about his presidency.

Most presidents spend their final weeks in the Oval Office shoring up their initiatives and making sure their priorities stay protected under the new commander-in-chief.

And Biden publicly pledged to cooperate on the transition, which was a change from the 2020 election when Trump refused to concede to him and made no effort to facilitate a government handover.

However, Biden, in an interview last week, also laughed when the news outlet asked him about Trump trying to overturn his initiatives.

He said: “I think he’s going to have a problem. Trump’s going to have a hard time undoing a lot, I think.”

The Trump team is preparing to hit the ground running. The business mogul, 78, plans at least 100 executive orders on Inauguration Day.

But Biden has implemented several policies that can’t be undone with a simple swipe of the new president’s pen.

And Trump seems to realize that. He’s accused Biden of being “sneaky.”

Speaking last week at Mar-a-Lago, he said: “They try to be sneaky. They go in and they say, remember, this is a man that said he wants to transition to be smooth. Well, you don’t do these kind of things.”

Cohen also revealed what he says is the White House’s real motive behind these decisions.

He warned, “there’s a whole other litany of ways that they’re going to try to frustrate us in those first few weeks” that will cause a “lag” after Trump is sworn in.

Two of the 37 death row prisoners whose sentences were commuted by Joe Biden have been battling to reject the outgoing president’s clemency.

Knewz.com can reveal Shannon Agofsky and Len Davis, both on death row at a federal prison, filed emergency injunctions to block the commutes.

Agofsky and Davis were among the federal prisoners whose death sentences were changed to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Despite the move that is preventing them from facing death, the two are refusing to sign paperwork accepting Biden’s clemency action.

According to reports, the prisoners claim that accepting the commutes would make it less likely that courts will hear an appeal of their cases based on claims of innocence.

In Agofsky’s emergency injunction filed on December 30, it claimed: “To commute his sentence now, while the defendant has active litigation in court, is to strip him of the protection of heightened scrutiny.

“This constitutes an undue burden and leaves the defendant in a position of fundamental unfairness, which would decimate his pending appellate procedures.”

According to Davis’ attorneys, their client “has always maintained that having a death sentence would draw attention to the overwhelming misconduct.”

In his filing, he also wrote that he “thanks (the) court for its prompt attention to this fast-moving constitutional conundrum. The case law on this issue is quite murky.”

In 2004, Agofsky, 53, was sentenced to death for a murder he committed in 2001.

He was found guilty of stomping another inmate at a federal prison in Texas.

Back in 1989, he received a life sentence for the murder of a bank president that he committed with his brother.

Meanwhile, Davis, 60, was found guilty of arranging the death of Kim Groves in 1994 after she filed a complaint accusing him of beating a teenager in her Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood.

Just before Christmas, Biden announced that he was commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 people on federal death row.

In his statement, the outgoing president said: “In good conscience, I cannot stand back and let a new administration resume executions that I halted.

“These commutations are consistent with the moratorium my administration has imposed on federal executions in cases other than terrorism and hate-motivated mass murder.

“Make no mistake: I condemn these murderers, grieve for the victims of their despicable acts, and ache for all the families who have suffered unimaginable and irreparable loss.

“But guided by my conscience and my experience as a public defender, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Vice President, and now President, I am more convinced than ever that we must stop the use of the death penalty at the federal level.”

In one of his final acts of office, President Joe Biden has dealt a devastating blow to Donald Trump‘s incoming administration.

Knewz.com can reveal Biden has banned future offshore oil and gas drilling after Trump pledged to drill at unprecedented levels if he were elected president.

Despite drilling actually being up during the Biden administration, Trump vowed he would lower energy prices for Americans by expanding oil and gas operations, a promise he coined with the chant “Drill Baby, Drill” on the campaign trail.

Mere weeks before Trump, 78, takes the oath of office on January 21, the Biden administration announced the new policy.

Biden, 82, used the 70-year-old Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to enact the new policy, which blocks future drilling leases from the majority of U.S. coastal waters.

The policy would not impact large portions of the Gulf of Mexico, where a majority of the U.S. oil and gas operations are based, but would protect coastlines along California, Florida, and other states.

The White House released a statement on Biden’s bold move.

Biden declared: “I am taking action to protect the East and West coasts, the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and Alaska’s Northern Bering Sea from oil and natural gas drilling and the harm it can cause.

“My decision reflects what coastal communities, businesses, and beachgoers have known for a long time: that drilling off these coasts could cause irreversible damage to places we hold dear and is unnecessary to meet our nation’s energy needs.

“It is not worth the risks. As the climate crisis continues to threaten communities across the country and we are transitioning to a clean energy economy, now is the time to protect these coasts for our children and grandchildren.”

Biden’s statement continued: “From California to Florida, Republican and Democratic Governors, Members of Congress, and coastal communities alike have worked and called for greater protection of our ocean and coastlines from harms that offshore oil and natural gas drilling can bring.

“In Alaska, dozens of Tribes have fought to protect the Northern Bering Sea, a vital ocean ecosystem that supports their traditional ways of life. Vice President Harris and I have listened.

“In balancing the many uses and benefits of America’s ocean, it is clear to me that the relatively minimal fossil fuel potential in the areas I am withdrawing do not justify the environmental, public health, and economic risks that would come from new leasing and drilling.”

While Trump has additionally vowed to undo many environmental protections rolled out under Biden, his hands are largely tied when it comes to walking back the latest oil and gas measure, which protects 625 million acres of federal waters.

The president-elect is unable to use his authority in office to roll back the policy and would instead need an act of Congress to appeal the policy.

Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt slammed Biden’s bold move, claiming: “Joe Biden clearly wants high gas prices to be his legacy.”

Leavitt further claimed: “This is a disgraceful decision designed to exact political revenge on the American people who gave President Trump a mandate to increase drilling and lower gas prices. Rest assured, Joe Biden will fail, and we will drill, baby, drill.”

Joe Biden has made sure not to deal with too much stress during the final year of his presidency before he hands over the reins to Donald Trump.

The 82-year-old spent almost a quarter of his final year in office in numerous vacation spots or even working remotely, Knewz.com can reveal.

According to a review of White House pool reports, Biden spent 24% of his final presidential year taking a load off.

Biden spent 89 full and partial days out of the White House this year, not counting days he was taking foreign trips for official business, time that increased as soon as he dropped out of the presidential race and handed things over to Vice President Kamala Harris.

The politician spent a total of 46 full or partial days in various getaway locations including Camp David, Delaware, Nantucket, California, and St. Croix.

The report does not include the Camp David trip Biden took to prepare for the first presidential debate against Trump – which ended up being a total disaster and kicked off the idea of having Harris take over.

The vacation tally also does not count Biden’s trip to Delaware to recover from COVID. At the time the president was not seen for a week before he eventually dropped out of the race.

Despite the numbers, White House spokesperson Andrew Bates defended Biden’s time off.

He said: “… Commanders-in chief have been able to perform the full range of their duties from anywhere in the world for decades. For example, President Biden was in Delaware when he secured the international deal that brought wrongfully detained Americans like Evan Gershkovich and Paul Whelan home.”

Bates added Biden works “around the clock” and has taken “few” vacation days.

All this comes as the Democrat was criticized for his final decisions as president, including commuting the sentences of 37 of the 40 men on federal death row – a move that sent Trump raging.

He cried on Truth Social: “[T]o the 37 most violent criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like virtually no one before them, but were just given, incredibly, a pardon by Sleepy Joe Biden.

“I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those lucky ‘souls’ but, instead, will say, GO TO HELL!”

Before he commuted the sentences of death row inmates, Biden was also mocked for granting clemency to 1,500 individuals earlier this month.

Biden said at the time: “As President, I have the great privilege of extending mercy to people who have demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation, restoring opportunity for Americans to participate in daily life and contribute to their communities, and taking steps to remove sentencing disparities for non-violent offenders, especially those convicted of drug offenses.”

The commander-in-chief insists he could’ve beaten the president-elect if he hadn’t been pushed out of the race by his own party, Knewz.com can reveal.

According to multiple anonymous sources, President Biden and some of his closest aides have recently boasted about how he should’ve stayed in the race and how he could’ve won a second term.

The 82-year-old Democrat was pressured by his party’s elites to drop out of the race in July due to his poor poll numbers and his disastrous debate performance against Trump, in which he gave incoherent answers and appeared to stumble over his words.

On July 21, Biden dropped out of the presidential election and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him on the top of the Democratic ticket. However, she was handily defeated by Trump, who’ll be sworn in for a second White House stint on January 20.

Insiders claimed: “Aides say the president has been careful not to place blame on Harris or her campaign.”

During a CBS News Sunday Morning interview in August, President Biden said former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led the charge to have him drop out of the race because Democrats in the House and Senate were worried he’d drag down their chances of being reelected.

In September, Biden appeared on The View and claimed he was confident he would have defeated Trump in November.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) said: “Biden ran on the promise that he was going to be a transitional president, and in effect, have one term before handing it off to another generation.

“I think his running again broke that concept – the conceptual underpinning of the theory that he would end the Trump appeal, he would defeat Trumpism and enable a new era.”

Some of the president’s closest advisers admit Biden’s old-school governing style didn’t always mesh with modern politics.

Jake Sullivan, Biden’s national security adviser, said: “The president has been operating on a time horizon measured in decades, while the political cycle is measured in four years.”

Biden recently admitted to a number of gaffes he’s made during his time in office, including how he “screwed up” during the debate and was “stupid” for not getting credit by putting his name on the pandemic relief checks his administration sent out in 2021 – as Trump did in 2020.

Biden has also said the administration could’ve done a better job “lifting Americans’ spirits” during the COVID pandemic.

Jill Biden has her sights set on getting revenge over how her husband, Joe Biden, was treated during the last couple of months of his presidency.

While Joe ruffled feathers, even within his own Democratic Party with his pardon of his son Hunter despite publicly vowing he wouldn’t, Jill is said to be encouraging the 82-year-old to continue to push buttons on his way out of the White House, Knewz.com can reveal.

A source said: “Jill views Democrats on Capitol Hill, the [wider] party, the Obamas, staff inside and outside the White House, the media, and all of Washington DC with such misguided resentment that I can’t imagine she [isn’t] encouraging [Joe] to burn the whole thing down, despite his better judgment.”

Former house speaker Nancy Pelosi may be first in line to be impacted by Jill’s wrath after she is said to have led the effort to push Joe out of the 2024 election – sources claim she personally called him and demanded he quit.

Earlier this month, at the annual Kennedy Center Honors, Pelosi was seated far away and out of Joe and Jill’s eye-line. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris – who lost her bid to become the 47th president to Donald Trump – and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were in the presidential box next to the Bidens, but those in attendance noted the president and the First Lady did not look at them.

Democratic mega-donor, attorney John Morgan, believes Biden may have forced Harris to run against Trump to spite Pelosi and Barack Obama who weren’t sure the Vice President could win the race.

Morgan claimed: “[Biden] basically had the palace coup from all directions, from George Clooney to Pelosi. I think he got pissed off [and] said, ‘F*** you’, and gave us Harris.

“Pelosi had told her delegation that there would be a convention and a nominating process. And Barack Obama did not endorse [Harris] for five days.”

Joe is doing his best to “burn it all down”… in his own way as he recently granted clemency to 1,500 individuals and pardoned 39 others in the largest single-day clemency action in U.S. history. The pardons were granted to those convicted of non-violent crimes and commuted sentences for individuals on home confinement.

He said at the time: “As President, I have the great privilege of extending mercy to people who have demonstrated remorse and rehabilitation, restoring opportunity for Americans to participate in daily life and contribute to their communities, and taking steps to remove sentencing disparities for non-violent offenders, especially those convicted of drug offenses.”

Earlier this month, Jill was accused of leading the charge to get her step-son Hunter pardoned, as insiders alleged she used family members to pressure her husband into pardoning his son before he left office.

Jill, along with granddaughter Naomi, were said to be the driving forces behind Joe’s decision.

A source said: “Hunter has no greater defender than Jill,” while one insider claimed Joe had “wrestled” whether to pardon Hunter or not.

The insider said: “Once it became clear that the Justice Department was dead set on jail time, this was always how it was ending.”

Despite the apparent drama, the Bidens still went through with celebrating the holiday season this year at the White House, but Jill was slammed for turning the residence into a “circus freak show”.

Tiger King star Joe Exotic has begged Joe Biden for pardon just one week after the president made a deal for his son, Hunter Biden, just days before he was set to be sentenced for his crimes.

Knewz.com can reveal that the former Netflix star wrote a letter to the current commander-in-chief claiming that he is “innocent and has served 7 years for nothing”.

In the letter obtained, the Netflix star wrote: “I know you know who I am because Vice President Harris posted on her Twitter for everyone to go watch Tiger King. Yes, my name is Joseph Maldonado aka Joe Exotic, and I am an innocent political prisoner of yours in America’s federal prison system. I am a political prisoner all for the Big Cat Safety Act which Vice President Harris bragged about sponsoring.

“You want to know why you all lost the election in 2024? Let me begin by explaining to you the millions of people in this country are tired of the system being used against them for a personal agenda and the hate that your administration promotes. To put me in prison the Department of Justice used a group of criminals to lie under oath and testify against me all while the U.S. Attorneys, FBI agents and Federal Wildlife Service agents knew they were lying and committing horrible crimes at the same time.”

With just weeks remaining in his presidency, Joe Exotic took a jab at the Biden administration.

He wrote: “Is this the end of what your administration stands for? Or will you find it within your power to make it right and allow me to go home based on the evidence of my case that I am innocent and have served 7 years for nothing.”

The former exotic animal park owner is serving a 21-year sentence after he was convicted for a murder-to-hire plot against Carol Baskin, his rival, an animal rights activist.

As previously reported, Maldonado is battling cancer while behind bars — plus, he was also diagnosed with scabies.

The former exotic animal park owner was jailed in 2019 and is currently set to be released in 2036.

He’s hoping to be released next year after his legal team filed an appeal for a retrial based on newly discovered evidence.

The Netflix star concluded his letter: “A corrupt system failing the American people so criminals can continue to take over America.”

Just days after President-elect Donald Trump won the historic 2024 presidential election, Joe penned him a letter also begging for pardon.

In the letter, he wrote: “A lot of people went to bat for you in 2021 who have been living in hell ever since then.

“Everyone hopes you keep the promises you made during your campaign, which include pardoning everyone sooner than later in January 2025.

“Some of those very people have been stuck in solitary confinement, forced to live like rats, have killed themselves in prison, or have died.

“Some, like myself, have fought like hell to hang on, hoping for you to win this election.”

For months, President Joe Biden was adamant that he would not pardon his son Hunter, who was previously convicted of gun and tax charges.

However, Knewz.com can reveal a body language expert believes the outgoing leader may have shown signs that he was secretly planning otherwise.

Just days before Hunter, 54, was set to be sentenced for his crimes, President Biden, 82, used his presidential powers to spare his youngest son from going to prison.

Several reports now claim the president was considering the action for at least six months. And it appears a body language specialist agrees. Judi James analyzed Joe’s reactions and responses to earlier interviews in which he told reporters a pardon was not an option.

She told DailyMail.com: “Biden looks like a man who has already made this decision and that the decision itself is non-negotiable.

“There’s not even any discussion from the interviewer, who moves onto the next subject, clearly satisfied the questions have been dealt with in the most comprehensive way.”

James went on to speculate that regardless of how the president feels now, he gave the impression at the time that he would take no action.

“He was very determined to define himself as being totally honest, which in political terms is the same as being honest because he would know how impossibly bad these unequivocal answers would look if he did the opposite in the future.

“(His body language) is staking his reputation on this here.”

For months, that was the case, with the president insisting he would not issue a pardon to Hunter amid his gun and tax charges, only to change his mind after the Thanksgiving holiday.

After a week of family time, Mr. Biden made the shocking announcement on December 1 that he had changed his position and would pardon his only living son.

In a statement released by the White House he said: “Today, I signed a pardon for my son Hunter.

“From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted.”

He added: “For my entire career I have followed a simple principle: just tell the American people the truth. They’ll be fair-minded.

“Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further.

“I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”

Despite his previous denials, two sources familiar with Biden’s discussions claimed he considered the action as early as June, when Hunter was convicted.

They claimed it was decided the president would tell the public he was not considering a pardon while he mulled over the decision behind closed doors, according to NBC News.

Another source echoed the insiders and said Biden “wrestled” with his decision for months before his announcement, under pressure from family members and his own feelings on the matter.

The source told Axios: “Once it became clear that the Justice Department was dead set on jail time, this was always how it was ending.”
