Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, kept their private lives out of the limelight, but the couple appeared to be happy during their marriage before their lifeless bodies were found at their $4 million mansion.

The pair’s death is being viewed as “suspicious,” as they were each found in separate rooms less than a year after being seen holding on to each other tightly during a public outing, Knewz.com can reveal.

The Hollywood legend is said to have first met Arakawa – a classical pianist – when she was working part-time at a fitness Center in California in 1989. The pair tied the knot just two years later.

Besides being a pro on the piano, Arakawa – who was born in Hawaii – also co-owned a home furnishing business in Santa Fe, New Mexico. However, upon beginning her relationship with Hackman, the two went private and moved into their home together, which resided on 12 acres of land in the Santa Fe area.

“It had a kind of magic in it,” the Oscar-winning actor once said of the city he lived in with his love.

While the two did not have any children together, Arakawa was seen as a stepmom to Hackman’s three kids, son Christopher and daughters Elizabeth Jean and Leslie Anne.

The movie star welcomed all three with his first wife, Faye Maltese, who he parted ways from in 1986 after 20 years of marriage.

“… We just drifted apart. We lost sight of each other. When you work in this business, marriage takes a great deal of work and love,” Hackman previously said of his divorce.

Following Hackman’s retirement from Hollywood, he became an author, and Arakawa is said to have helped him published numerous books including Pursuit and Payback at Morning Peak.

Hackman gushed about Arakawa’s help during a 2014 interview with podcast Writer’s Bone: “If in fact I have a style, it came from repeated edits, friends’ suggestions, and my wife’s unwavering, specific read-throughs.”

Hackman and Arakawa’s bodies were found “mummified” at their home, two weeks since the two had last been seen.

According to a search warrant, Arakawa was found decomposed with bloating on her face and mummification in her hands and feet. Hackman was also found with the same signs of decomposition as his wife, a sheriff revealed. No suicide note was left at the scene.

Pills were also discovered scattered around in their bathroom as well as near Arakawa’s body in the bedroom. The Unforgiven actor was in the home’s mudroom, the warrant read.

The identities of both Hackman and Arakawa were not released for nearly 12 hours due to the condition of the bodies.

The pair’s dog, a German Shepherd, was also found dead in a closet, while the other two were discovered alive.

While police noted there was no “obvious signs of a gas leak,” Hackman’s daughter Elizabeth Jean speculated they may have died due to a carbon monoxide leak.

But West, who currently calls himself Ye, was also reportedly upset with the show’s crew.

The documentary explains whiny West, 47, had a temper tantrum in 2016 after SNL’s staff removed decorative materials that his creative team had brought to the set for his performance.

Behind-the-scenes audio featured in the doc appears to capture the potty-mouth moaning: “Look at that s—. They took my f—— stage off at SNL without asking me. Now I’m bummed. Are they f—— crazy? I’m 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f— with me.”

“He’s sweating bullets, fearing that his cancer will return,” confided the friend. “Gabrielle and his older kids tell him he should just be thankful he’s alive and to live for today, but he can’t seem to get some dark scenarios out of his head.”

Experts say that’s not unusual for cancer survivors.

Kevin Spacey‘s firm has been hit with a new lawsuit after allegedly failing to pay in taxes on his former $6 million Baltimore home.

Knewz.com can reveal the scandal-hit actor, 65, took out a multi-million dollar mortgage on the extravagant five-level apartment.

But property filings show he’d failed to keep up with the repayments after he was hit with multiple sex abuse allegations, which he has denied.

The home was foreclosed and sold at auction last July after Spacey reportedly put up a fight.

He secretly bought the Baltimore shoreline property through the firm Clear Toaster LLC, which is run by his business manager, Dan Bolno, in an apparent effort to conceal the actor as the buyer.

Now, it’s been revealed Clear Toaster is being sued by the tax experts Maryland Tax Appeals LLC.

They specialize in helping people to appeal their property tax assessment and reduce the amount they pay if, for example, they believe the pad has declined in value.

Details are brief on the Maryland district court website, but the lawsuit is described as “contract — large claims,” which is usually for cases seeking damages of over $10,000.

Spacey’s lawyers are disputing the suit and have filed their “intention to defend.”

Regarding their defense, the court details read, “Did not commit wrongs alleged — demands strict proof of each and every allegation.”

Spacey has enlisted attorneys Whiteford Taylor & Preston with proceedings having been postponed.

Records show Spacey purchased the property for $5.65 million and took a big risk by taking out a whopping home loan of $4,237,500 with Comerica Bank in September 2017.

It was just a month before he was hit with the first allegations of sexual misconduct.

The loan was over 30 years at a four percent interest rate, which is around $20,000 plus taxes.

He initially refused to leave the pad after it was sold at auction to property investor Sam Asgari, who purchased it for a bargain price of $3.24 million.

The actor’s legal team previously accused Asgari in court docs of using “intimidation” tactics to try to force Spacey out of the home.

They alleged Asgari falsely declared the property as “abandoned” while posting an eviction notice.

Spacey’s lawyer, Edward U. Lee III, wrote in a filing that Asgari used the notice as a means of “harassing and coercing” his client to move out before he was legally required to do so.

However, Asgari hit back, saying: “The exceptions filed have no merit, and they’re designed to buy time on our expense, to live in the property for free, and to smear the buyer.

“The trustee and us will file in opposition, and we strongly believe that their claims are frivolous and will be denied.”

The pair eventually reached a settlement in November for Spacey to leave and, this week, the six-bed, seven-bath home was put on the market for $5.9 million.

The property was built in 2016 and has a home theater, elevator, sauna, billiard room, and chef’s kitchen.

There is also a 76-foot roof deck with a spa and a four-car garage.

Michael LaRosa, longtime press secretary for First Lady Jill Biden, has revealed in a recent interview that the Joe Biden administration “gaslighted” the American public by “covering up” the concerns regarding the oldest President’s age and health during his reelection campaign.

Knewz.com has learned that LaRosa admitted that the Biden campaign was aware “from day one” that the 81-year-old President’s age “was an issue.”

“From the moment I joined the campaign in the fall of 2019, it was a problem,” LaRosa said in the interview.

Concerns regarding Biden’s age and capability to run for Office were raised every time he made a verbal gaffe on the campaign circuit, with President Donald Trump making it one of the key points of his Presidential campaign.

However, the dissenting voices had never been as loud as they were after the first Presidential debate—an event that cemented the concerns about Biden’s age and reportedly deteriorating cognitive abilities.

While talking about border security at the debate – a rather crucial topic for this year’s presidential election – Biden’s statement became increasingly unintelligible, with Trump grabbing the chance to reply: “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don’t think he knows what he said, either.”

Another notable example was when he tried to respond to a question about the national debt, and he trailed off toward the end of his response and ended his statement with another one of his verbal gaffes, saying, “We finally beat Medicare.”

Trump immediately pounced on the opportunity when it was his turn to respond: “Well he’s right, he did beat Medicare. He beat it to death and he’s destroying Medicare.”

Notably, Biden’s performance at the June 27 debate led to prominent Democrats calling on him to take his name out of the running.

Hollywood megastar George Clooney also penned his concerns regarding Biden’s advancing age and his performance at the June 27 Presidential debate, conveying his worries as an ardent Democrat supporter.

“We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate,” Clooney wrote in his guest essay for The New York Times.

“This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor who I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly,” Clooney said at the time.

However, prior to the former President bowing out of the Presidential race, the Biden campaign tried its best to counter the concerns regarding his advancing age, although LaRosa believes it would be a little “harsh” to call it a cover-up.

“Calling it a cover-up is a little harsh and exaggerated. Every politician, every human being, tries to cover up their age. We all wear makeup on TV… So we were always, from day one, cognizant that age was an issue. From the moment I joined the campaign in the fall of 2019, it was a problem,” he said.

LaRosa further said at a Science Institute at American University seminar on Wednesday, February 26:

“There are some things that are true, I mean, like the gaslighting. There was a lot of denial of the polling. And I will use the term gaslighting because that’s what they were doing, the campaign, former colleagues. The message to everybody was to make sure that you tell people it’s too early.”

He also said in the PUCK interview:

“The message to everybody was to make sure you tell people, “It’s too early. These polls don’t mean anything.” Then for about a year and a half, the numbers never moved, and by denying the data that was out there publicly, by denying and undermining the really insightful journalism that The New York Times was doing, that you were doing, and all of the free press, they were actually demeaning a lot of those people.”

“… The point is that they did do a lot of gaslighting. If you were watching MSNBC, you probably believed them. But if you were consuming information, consuming data, and looking at it objectively, and trying to interpret it and process it objectively, none of it was surprising,” LaRosa added.

Despite the White House trying to uphold the image of Biden’s “good health” in front of the public during his reelection campaign, LaRosa revealed that the former president’s aides were “scared to death of impromptu, unscripted, unrehearsed, unpracticed, unchoreographed anything” ahead of the elections.

“[Biden] loves TV. He loves doing stuff. It was the orbit that didn’t trust the candidate. Biden needed the press, but when he needed the press the most, they didn’t trust him. And then the press put their foot on the gas and never took it off, and he was politically dead in a month,” he added.

Melania Trump and stepdaughter Ivanka‘s feud dates back to before the pair found themselves in the White House.

Knewz.com can reveal Melania and Ivanka have not seen eye-to-eye much over the course of their relationship, battling it out over everything from vacations to even policy issues.

Melania and Ivanka found themselves in the same circle after the former model’s 2005 marriage to Donald Trump – years before the reality star would become president.

At 34, Melania was 24 years younger than Trump at the time, and only 11 years older than his eldest daughter, which is said to have led to plenty of bickering between one another.

Their speculated feud really erupted once they moved from New York City to the White House for Trump’s first term as president in 2020.

The duo are believed to have had a power struggle during their time in the White House, with Melania reportedly being asked her thoughts on straying away from the traditional “Office of the First Lady” and going the “Office of the First Family” route instead.

This request reportedly left Melania raging.

In 2018, then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly even had to mediate between Melania and Ivanka and their offices, according to one report.

A source said at the time: “Ivanka will always be a thorn in (Melania’s) side.”

During Trump’s second inauguration ceremony in January, some viewers noted Melania, 54, and Ivanka, 43, did not interact despite standing next to each other.

Melania may get more time to herself moving forward, as Ivanka has decided to stay away from her father’s political dealings.

She said last month in a podcast interview: “I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter and be there for (Trump), to take his mind off things and watch a movie with him or watch a sports game, to know that he can be with me and be himself, and just relax,” while not mentioning her stepmom at all.

Ivanka also made clear she isn’t exactly a fan of the nightmare that is politics, and added: “I love policy and impact. I hate politics. And unfortunately, the two are not separable.

“There is a darkness to that world that I don’t really want to welcome into mine.”

Despite this, one source believes Melania will still have to deal with Ivanka at family functions.

An insider said: “(Melania) is going be irritated because Ivanka is going to just show up at state dinners and stuff. That’s going to be the new battle.”

Another source believes “there is a sense of competition” between the two, especially with Ivanka’s life seemingly blossoming according to her Instagram photos – which Melania is said to find “unprofessional.”

“… I think there’s a sense of (Melania) trying to fit in with the Trump family, about being these accomplished business people,” said the insider.

And Melania may be well on her way to doing just that as she is set to receive a $40million payday to film a docuseries for Prime Video, which is expected to be released in theaters and on the streaming service later this year.

The massive deal includes the documentary and a two-to-three-episode follow-up docuseries on Melania, who will act as executive producer.

A new mystery virus that has already killed 50 people is being compared to the COVID outbreak, Knewz.com can reveal.

The unknown illness, first discovered in three children who ate a bat, has spread rapidly throughout the northwest Congo.

The latest disease outbreak has been traced to a village in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where the three kids ate a bat – and all died within 48 hours.

Since the outbreak on Jan 21. there have been more than 400 reported cases of the virus and 53 deaths.

World Health Organization officials are especially concerned because the symptoms, which include fever, vomiting, and internal bleeding, come on fast and strong.

Similar symptoms are typically linked to known deadly viruses, such as Ebola, but researchers have ruled these out based on tests of more than a dozen samples collected so far.

One medical director in the region called it, “Really worrying.”

Worried health officials have launched a probe to find out more about this new disease and where it came from.

One researched told the Daily Mail: “There is a huge amount of uncertainty about this outbreak. Outbreaks like this will happen many times around the world and are typically brought under control relatively quickly. However, here, it is concerning that we have hundreds of cases and over 50 deaths, with hemorrhagic-fever like symptoms widely reported among those cases.”

They added: “Tests are never 100 per cent accurate, and it is likely that with increased testing, we will have a confirmed pathogen in some of those samples. The lack of healthcare infrastructure in the DRC means the public health response is more complicated.

‘However, the country has had mpox and Ebola outbreaks in recent times, so they are experienced at addressing infectious disease epidemics.”

Officials have speculated for years COVID-19 originated with bats in a Chinese lab, and it was revealed the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) backs the lab leak theory.

The evaluation, declassified and released by new CIA director John Ratcliffe, was conducted during the Biden administration using existing evidence available to the CIA.

The analysis includes a closer look at high-security labs in Wuhan, China.

Ratcliffe, a proponent of the lab leak theory, emphasized the importance of the CIA’s involvement in the discussion surrounding COVID-19’s origin, highlighting potential implications for U.S.-China relations.

Ratcliffe said: “One of the things that I’ve talked about a lot is addressing the threat from China on a number of fronts, and that goes back to why a million Americans died and why the Central Intelligence Agency has been sitting on the sidelines for five years in not making an assessment about the origins of COVID. That’s a day-one thing for me.”

He added: “I think our intelligence, our science and our common sense all really dictate that the origins of Covid was a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But the CIA has not made that assessment or at least not made that assessment publicly.

“So I’m going to focus on that and look at the intelligence and make sure that the public is aware that the agency is going to get off the sidelines.”

The search for the origin of the pandemic, which has caused millions of deaths worldwide and led to extensive lockdowns and disruptions, is crucial to prevent future outbreaks.

Determining whether the virus escaped from a lab could lead to enhanced regulations on risky virus research while identifying a wet market as the source might prompt efforts to improve security in such places.

An influencer who called for the assassination of Elon Musk – and then bragged about not paying taxes for eight years – has caught the attention of the Justice Department, Knewz.com can reveal.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Colombia Ed Martin vowed to pursue charges against Sarah C. Roberts following her viral video.

While Roberts’ social media accounts have since been deactivated, her video has continued to circulate online – and was shared by right-wing influencer LibsofTikTok, who has 4.3 million followers on X.

LibsofTikTok captioned the video: “TikToker who admits she hasn’t filed taxes in 8 years calls for Elon to be ass*ssinated @fbi.”

In a follow-up post, the conservative account boasted about Roberts now being the subject of an investigation, writing: “BREAKING: U.S. Attorney Ed Martin just announced an investigation into this tiktoker who called to assassinate Elon.”

Roberts said in her since-deleted video: “I promised myself I would avoid the news, but obviously, I haven’t. Here’s my one thought – I have many thoughts – Elon Musk.”

After mentioning the tech CEO, who has joined the Trump administration as a White House advisor and leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Roberts made a throat-slashing motion.

She continued: “We need to X him. And by X, I mean formally known as assassination.”

The influencer then began to speak in a whisper as she addressed the FBI, claiming the department would never come after her.

She added: “Arrest me. You don’t have enough people to even investigate me at this point. I haven’t filed my taxes in like… eight years and yet no one’s come for me.

“So I’m going to f—— say it. Let’s assassinate some motherf—–“

Musk also raised alarm over Roberts video and wrote on X: “Death threat and admission of multiple counts of tax fraud.”

The Tesla founder also tagged Martin in his post.

The U.S. Attorney later reposted LibsofTikTok’s X post, adding: “Duly noted.

“Thx for letting us know. We’ll put you in the system. Talk soon, M’am. #NoOneIsAboveTheLaw.”

Since becoming the president’s so-called “first buddy,” Musk has sparked fury online after DOGE gutted government agencies, including firing thousands of federal employees.

Citizens have taken to social media to express concerns over non-elected official Musk’s increasing level of involvement at the White House, including holding a press conference from the Oval Office.

Musk’s authority in the Trump administration has also sparked outrage at town halls across the country, with citizens raising alarm to elected officials over mass firings and potential cuts to federal programs including Medicare and Medicaid.

Additional protests, including a “Nobody Elected Elon” rally in Washington D.C., have also been organized.

A recent study has found that the majority of United States citizens have described American society as “toxic,” with 17% of American adults considering moving to another country.

Knewz.com has learned that millennials emerged in the survey as the group most eager to move internationally, with 25% considering settling abroad.

The study stated that this trend among millennials “likely reflects the unique challenges faced by millennials, who have experienced multiple economic downturns, rising student debt, and increasingly unaffordable housing throughout their adult lives.”

Clint Kreider, a licensed marriage and family therapist at Still Water Wellness Group, commented in this regard:

“Younger generations, in particular, are driving this trend… Raised in the shadow of the 2008 recession and pandemic-era instability, they’ve inherited skepticism toward traditional pathways to stability. Social media amplifies this by showcasing alternatives — countries with robust safety nets, affordable education or mandated vacation time.”

“In my therapy practice, I’ve witnessed clients grappling with what I call ‘invisible attrition’: a sense that no matter how hard they work, systemic barriers (skyrocketing healthcare costs, stagnant wages and unrelenting hustle culture) erode their ability to thrive,” Kreider added.

Of the 17% of American adults who intend to move to another country, 5% plan to take actual action to make it happen within the next couple of years, while 2% have said that they have already begun the procedure to emigrate.

The study also found that the most common reason U.S. citizens decide to leave the country is their growing concern regarding American society and the challenges of building financial security.

According to the survey conducted by Talker Research, 69% of American adults are “worried about the direction the United States is heading.”

Notably, 65% of the citizens surveyed for the study said they believe American society has become increasingly “toxic.”

Financial concerns emerged as another common reason why U.S. citizens are planning to move abroad, with 54% of the surveyed individuals saying that the country is no longer affordable.

In addition, the study found that “55% believed the gap between rich and poor limits their opportunities.”

“Nearly four in ten (39%) thought improving their finances and quality of life would be easier in another country,” the study further stated.

Another leading concern among American citizens is the work-life balance, regarding which 57% find the country’s approach “inadequate.”

“Even more troubling were views on essential systems, with strong majorities agreeing that American healthcare (65%) and education (66%) systems are broken,” the survey found.

Overall, 40% of American adults part of the survey said that living in the U.S. was “no longer enjoyable or preferable to other nations.”

In terms of where they would rather move and settle, 19% of potential expatriates named Canada as their top choice.

The study found that “the appeal of America’s northern neighbor appears to be multifaceted, with respondents citing Canada’s high-quality healthcare (41%), its diverse landscape offering ample opportunities for exploration and recreation (28%), and the nation’s practical approach to work-life balance (21%) as primary attractions.”

Italy was named by 11% of those planning to settle abroad, making it the second-most coveted destination.
