Elon Musk has been mocked in a fake advertisement display in London that rebranded Tesla as the "Swasticar," once again associating the tech tycoon with Adolf Hitler's infamous Nazi regime.
Knewz.com has learned that the fake ad also included a picture of Musk's iconic "Nazi salute" during President Donald Trump's inauguration.
The supposed "anti-Tesla" campaign advert, which was displayed at a London bus stop, contained the words, "Goes from 0 to 1939 in 3 seconds."
Footage of the ad was shared on TikTok, where it instantly went viral and seemingly polarized viewers—while some appreciated the humor and joined in with the joke, others found the campaign ad "extreme."
Notably, this is not the only anti-Musk or anti-Tesla campaign in Europe, as the campaign group Led By Donkeys and the activist group Centre for Political Beauty in Germany recently projected a picture of Musk's Nazi salute on the side of a Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin.
The projection featured the words, "Heil Tesla," as the campaign groups allege that Musk is using his wealth to "degrade democracy."
A spokesperson for Led By Donkeys said in a statement:
"Musk is using his wealth from Tesla to back far-right parties and degrade democracy. He shouldn’t be surprised if people don’t fancy driving round in his cars for much longer. Increasingly it’s not a great look."
It is worth noting that recent data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association showed that the sales of new Tesla cars almost halved in Europe over January 2025.
Tesla sold 9,945 vehicles in Europe in January, down 45% from last year’s 18,161, according to reports.
"The figures left analysts scrambling to assess how big a factor customers turning their backs on the brand because of Musk’s foray into far-right politics may be," reports have mentioned.
Led By Donkeys also beamed a video onto the Tesla factory in Berlin which "compiled various screenshots of Musk’s tweets and videos, with a voiceover claiming the SpaceX owner supports far-right activists," according to reports.
It is worth noting that on Tuesday, February 25, an AI-generated video of President Donald Trump kissing Musk's feet was shown on "hacked" screens at the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Several people have filmed the screens showing the video of the President caressing and smooching the tech tycoon's feet, and the clip has already become viral on social media.
The video was accompanied by a message that read, "LONG LIVE THE REAL KING," seemingly referencing President Trump's Truth Social Post where he called himself the king of the nation.
"Congestion pricing is dead. Manhattan, and all of New York, is saved. Long live the King!" Trump wrote in the said social media post.
It is not yet known who was responsible for hacking the screens at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, but it is worth noting that the incident came right on the heels of the Trump administration's proposal to slash half of the federal workforce of the department.
It has been reported that the proposed layoff plan is targeting employees who support disaster recovery, rental subsidies, discrimination investigations, and first-time homebuyers.
According to reports, leaked documents have detailed the loss of some 4,000 positions in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, affecting over a dozen programs within the Department's portfolio.
