Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted British socialite, and once-confidante of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly living in fear of a violent beatdown behind bars after snitching on her fellow inmates.
According to exclusive reports from Daily Mail, sources at the low-security Florida lockup where Maxwell is serving her 20-year sentence at FCI Tallahassee have revealed that Maxwell is “freaking out” after ratting out two “violent Cuban inmates” over a commissary extortion attempt.
“The pair were thrown in solitary confinement for 47 days after Maxwell reported them to authorities,” said the source. “But now she’s ‘freaking out’ because the two bullies have been released back into the general prison population and are out for revenge.”
The source revealed that Maxwell is aware of the inmates’ “reputation for being tough and mean inside jail” and is therefore “so scared of retribution she’s refusing to use the shower stalls.” The source added, “Las Cubanas don’t let anything slide. They are saying Maxwell needs to pay for the 47 days she cost them.”
Insiders claim Maxwell was already on their bad side because of her “snobbish” attitude. This was further exacerbated when the inmates discovered Maxwell had an “arrangement” with a kitchen worker to steal additional fruit, vegetables, and tofu in exchange for commissary items - which upset the inmates because they thought they also deserved “special privileges.”
In exchange for their silence, they demanded Ghislaine’s entire ration of commissary items via written note. Jeffry Epstein’s former lover then took the note to the prison authorities.
While Maxwell is being escorted to and from her prison library job every day by a guard, while the Cuban inmates have been moved to a different unit. Sources further iterated that Maxwell has even requested a transfer, per the Daily Mail.
Maxwell is currently expected to remain at FCI Tallahassee until at least July 17, 2037, unless she can overturn her convictions for helping Epstein groom and abuse women.
The socialite is being represented by high-powered lawyer Arthur Aidala, who also represents disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.
Aidala has argued that Maxwell was “used as a proxy to satisfy public rage” after Epstein’s suicide.
