Pastor Brandon Briggs, a YouTube personality known for his apocalyptic prophecies, claims he foresaw the Donald Trump assassination attempt that took place on Saturday, July 13.
Knewz.com has learned that Briggs made the assertion four months ago where he claimed that the former president’s near-death experience would transform him (Trump) into a “fiery” envoy of Christianity.
“I saw an attempt on his life. This bullet flew by his ear and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum.”
“He fell to his knees during this time frame and he started worshiping the Lord. He got radically born again … I’m talking … people say he’s saved now, but he comes really on fire for Jesus.”
In the video dated March 15, Briggs also predicted that the former president would win the 2024 election.
“I saw him winning the presidency,” Briggs said, and touched on Trump’s ongoing lawsuits.
“It would go clear into the [...] summer,” Briggs elaborated. “Great persecution would come on him through the judges and [...] the law.”
“All these people trying to sue him and all this stuff but there would be a stop to it and there, things would start to [...] break free come toward the fall”
“And then I saw him winning the election.” Briggs made reference to “patriots” with burning torches “coming out and voting.”
Notably, the former president has exhibited a change of tone.
Following the attempt on his life at the Butler rally in Pennsylvania where a bullet missed his brain by less than an inch, he claimed that he planned on changing his Republican National Convention (RNC) speech – presumably from the usual anti-Biden diatribe – to one that encouraged national unity.
“It’s going to be a whole different speech now,” he said.
“This is a chance to bring the whole country, even the whole world, together.”
“The speech will be a lot different, a lot different than it would’ve been two days ago,” he said.
He was also reported telling a group of supporters at the RNC that a brush with death “changes your attitude, your viewpoint toward life.”
“You appreciate God even more.”
Briggs's prediction of Trump winning the election is shared by many, particularly right-wing politicians like Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.).
Van Orden was quoted saying: “President Trump survives this attack—he just won the election.”
Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) also weighed in, pointing out the visual of Trump with his fist raised and blood on his face.
“This will energize the base more than anything. And he, you know — with his fist in the air and he didn’t want to leave. And he’s yelling, fight, fight, fight. That’ll be the slogan.”
