Reports have emerged that multiple boxes of classified documents were cycled throughout Mar-a-Lago storage spaces in a 'dress rehearsal' at Trump's behest.

Sources indicate that the practice was carried out because Trump did not want to turn over the files Jack Smith, the special counsel examining Trump's handling of classified documents, is exploring the possibility of a ‘dress rehearsal’ - where Trump combed through some of the boxes prior to their confiscation.

It wasn't till May 2022 that the DOJ released a subpoena, and then Trump's team moved a few of the files out of storage. News of the recent visit to Mar-a-Lago includes the revelation that "Trump and his personnel had actually performed the practice run of moving the files out of the storage area."

"The files were moved on June 2," stated a witness, and hours later, Trump's legal representatives contacted the DOJ to state they were welcome to inspect and recover the documents.

When the three FBI Agents and a Department of Justice lawyer arrived they were handed a single Redweld envelope double-wrapped in tape which consisted of 38 files with category markings, including five “personal”, 16 “secret,” and 17 “top secret”.

The Department of Justice smelled a rat and by August 8, 2022, subjected the Mar-A-Lago premises to an FBI raid that produced over 100 classified documents along with more than 11,000 other government files.

Some of the files are believed to have contained sensitive information about foreign countries' nuclear capabilities, Iran’s missile system, and intelligence gathering on China.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump’s legal representatives are calling the recent developments in the investigation an attempt by elements with political interests, to damage the former Commander in Chief’s bid for presidency.

They also asserted that the staff involved in the Mar-a-Lago “dress rehearsal” were not complicit in any wrongdoing as they were merely carrying out their employer's orders.
