The Fine Arts Department of Thailand announced the discovery of an ancient skeleton that can “rewrite the history” of human settlement in the region, according to archaeologists.

Knewz.com has learned that the ancient skeleton was uncovered inside a remote Thai cave in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park.

According to reports, the skeletal remains belong to a child and have been deemed the oldest skeleton ever discovered in Thailand.

The Fine Arts Department announced that the skeletal remains have been named “Pangpond” after a beloved Thai cartoon character, and are estimated to be 29,000 years old, placing the skeleton within the late Pleistocene period.

“Currently, geologists and speleologists are working alongside the Fine Arts Department to study soil layers and conduct further age analysis. Ongoing research will continue to provide deeper insights into this significant find,” the announcement from the department read.

“This discovery is regarded as a groundbreaking archaeological find in Thailand and a new piece of evidence for the world’s paleontologists to examine,” the announcement, which was posted on Facebook, added.

The excavation project that led to the discovery of the ancient skeleton began in 2020 in the Din Cave, a site already famous for its prehistoric rock art.

“The excavation began after cave paintings were discovered on the cave walls in 2020. Researchers started excavating near the cave wall, where they found various artifacts, including axes, seashells, animal bones, and plant seeds, indicating the existence of prehistoric humans,” the post by the Fine Arts Department read.

“The team then excavated two meters deeper, ultimately uncovering a human skeleton. Based on the dental analysis, the skeleton is believed to belong to a child aged 6-8 years, although their gender could not be determined.”

“The skeleton was named “Pangpond” and was sent to a scientific laboratory in the United States for age determination. The results confirmed that the remains were approximately 29,000 years old, aligning with the Ice Age period,” the announcement added.

It has been reported that this discovery can potentially rewrite the understanding of human history in Thailand, and push back the timeline of human occupation in the region by tens of thousands of years.

Phnombootra Chandrajoti, the Director General of the Fine Arts Department said in a statement:

“This is a groundbreaking discovery that will reshape our understanding of early human presence in Southeast Asia… The careful burial and the associated artifacts provide invaluable insights into the rituals and daily lives of these ancient inhabitants.”

An archaeologist from the Fine Arts Department explained that the “body was carefully placed and surrounded by stones, indicating a level of respect and care in the burial process.”

“The positioning of the limbs, with the toes touching, suggests the body may have been wrapped or tied before burial,” the FAD archaeologist further stated.

It has been further reported that the skeleton “was found buried in a supine position, with the head oriented southwest, suggesting a deliberate and ritualistic burial.”

A new study has warned that more than half of adults worldwide will be overweight or obese by 2050, posing what has been described as an “unparalleled threat” to global health and will put significant strain on healthcare systems around the world.

Knewz.com has learned that the study, published on March 3, projected that over one-third of children and younger people will also suffer the same fate by 2050, marking an alarming rise in obesity among the demographic.

The study used established methodology from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2021 to calculate the number of overweight and obese children and adolescents and then calculated the projected numbers for 2050.

“Primary data for our models included 1321 unique measured and self-reported anthropometric data sources from 180 countries and territories from survey microdata, reports, and published literature,” the study mentioned.

“These data were used to estimate age-standardized global, regional, and national overweight prevalence and obesity prevalence (separately) for children and young adolescents (aged 5–14 years, typically in school and cared for by child health services) and older adolescents (aged 15–24 years, increasingly out of school and cared for by adult services) by sex for 204 countries and territories from 1990 to 2021.”

The report found that there are currently 2.11 billion adults aged 25 or above and 493 million children and young people aged five to 24 who are overweight or obese.

In 1990, their numbers were 731 million and 198 million respectively, showing a sharp increase in obesity worldwide.

By 2050, the study predicts that the number of overweight and obese adults aged 25 and above will reach 3.8 billion, i.e. over half of their global population, and that the number of children and young people suffering from obesity will reach 746 million—more than one-third of their global population.

“The research predicts a particularly alarming rise (121%) in obesity among children and younger people, with the number predicted to be living with obesity predicted to hit 360 million by 2050,” reports have mentioned.

It is worth noting that more than half of the adults classified as overweight or obese in 2021 live in just eight countries, namely, China (402 million), India (180 million), the US (172 million), Brazil (88 million), Russia (71 million), Mexico (58 million), Indonesia (52 million), and Egypt (41 million).

The study wrote: “Despite the well-documented consequences of obesity during childhood and adolescence and future risks of excess body mass on non-communicable diseases in adulthood, coordinated global action on excess body mass in early life is still insufficient.”

The report further mentioned that by 2050, “about one in three children and young people living with obesity (130 million) are forecast to be in just two regions – north Africa and the Middle East and Latin America and the Caribbean – with seismic health, economic and societal consequences.”

The study warned that the current trends show that children worldwide are gaining weight faster than the previous generations, and are falling prey to obesity earlier than the previous generations.

The paper, published in The Lancet, forecasts:

“At a regional level, the following populations are forecast to have transitioned to obesity (vs overweight) predominance before 2041–50: children and adolescents (males and females aged 5–24 years) in north Africa and the Middle East and Tropical Latin America; males aged 5–14 years in east Asia, central and southern sub-Saharan Africa, and central Latin America; females aged 5–14 years in Australasia; females aged 15–24 years in Australasia, high-income North America, and southern sub-Saharan Africa; and males aged 15–24 years in high-income North America.”

It is worth noting that a 2024 study out of Stockholm, Sweden, revealed that having obesity in childhood doubles the risk of developing multiple sclerosis (MS) later in life.

Furthermore, being overweight or obese also increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and cancer occurring at a younger age, thus posing an “unparalleled threat” of early death.

Elon Musk and Jon Stewart were all set to confront one another in an interview – until the controversial billionaire decided to back out of it, claiming the comedian “can’t be trusted.”

Stewart addressed the back-and-forth on Monday on The Daily Show, launching into a wild verbal attack, Knewz.com can reveal.

The Comedy Central star told his audience: “I thought about (Musk’ offer), and after a prayerful week with my family… I thought, ‘You know, that’s actually how the in-studio interviews normally air – unedited.”

Previously, Musk admitted he was open to an interview with Stewart if the exchange was unedited.

Stewart continued: “So, sure, we’d be delighted! As a matter of fact, let me sweeten or unsweeten the pot. The interview can be 15 minutes, it can be an hour, it can be two hours – whatever.”

The 62-year-old, however, noticed Musk had changed his mind: “I checked X again, and I saw another tweet from Elon, because you can’t not. He then said – after saying he’d like to come on – that ‘Jon Stewart cannot be trusted’ and that I’m a ‘propagandist’ and a ‘bipartisan.’

“You give me too little credit. Again, the guy who custom-made his own dark MAGA hat that he wears to opine in the Oval Office with the president who he spent $270 million to elect … thinks I’m just too partisan.

“I’m not sure what he thinks ‘bipartisan’ means. But it’s generally not, ‘I support Donald Trump and also Germany’s AFD party – that’s not bipartisan. That’s just the same s—.”

Stewart continued to call out Musk – known as President Trump‘s “First Buddy” – in the blistering attack: “Look Elon, I do have some criticisms about DOGE. I support, in general, the idea of efficiency and delivering better services to the American public in cheaper and more efficient ways.

“And if you want to come in and talk about it on the show, great. If you don’t want to, sure. But can we just drop the pretense that you won’t do it because I don’t measure up to the standards of neutral discourse that you demand and display at all times? Because quite frankly, that’s bulls—. You know it, and I know it – it’s bulls—.”

Fans were also quick to roast Musk over bailing on the potential interview, taking to the Tesla founder’s own platform to rage.

One wrote: “Elon is a coward. He wouldn’t dare show up against Jon Stewart,” and another added, “Elon would never actually do an interview with (Stewart), specifically because Jon is competent enough, and completely unattached from the influences of Elon’s money. Spineless consistency.”

A user said: “Elon is a bulls— artist who wouldn’t last two minutes in front of Jon Stewart intellectually or comedically, and anyone who takes Elon’s comments about Jon seriously is delusional.”

All this comes as Musk, 53, continues to be attached to Trump’s hip, showing up at the Oval Office with his son X and even attending the administration’s first cabinet meeting.

Despite predictions claiming Musk and Trump will tire of one another, a body language expert previously suggested that may not be the case.

They said: “… In power terms the two men are formidable heavyweights but it’s Elon looking the more excitable and in awe in Trump’s company here.

“It’s clear their brains will probably never connect but Trump currently seems keen to keep Elon close and Elon appears keen to push that proximity.”

Pope Francis has no interest at all in resigning despite his ongoing health complications, even while his Cardinals are preparing to move on without the pontiff.

Knewz.com can reveal the 88-year-old spent another day in Rome‘s Gemelli Hospital with double pneumonia, as his future in the Catholic Church continues to be up in the air.

Francis is said to have written a resignation letter 12 years ago, in case he found himself unable to continue to serve in his position of leadership – however, he is reportedly not ready to let go of his reign.

Argentine journalist Elisabetta Pique, a friend and biographer of Francis, said: “He’s always been a fighter. He doesn’t give in under pressure.

“The more pressure they put on him, the more likely he won’t give in.”

While the Vatican has shot down rumors the Pope is pondering a resignation, French Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline – who is on the list of possible replacements – said “everything is possible” while at a press conference.

The Pope has continued with his duties, even from his hospital bed, as he has met with senior church members and also conducted phone calls. However, the Vatican confirmed Cardinal Angelo De Donatis, the former vicar of Rome, will replace Francis to lead the annual Ash Wednesday service on March 5.

All this comes after Francis experienced two “acute respiratory failures” that necessitated the use of a ventilator on Monday, as it was confirmed he had suffered a “significant accumulation of endobronchial mucus and consequent bronchospasm,” and required two bronchoscopies for further examination of his airways.

Just one day later, Francis was taken off the ventilator and was reported to be in stable condition, although his health condition remains “guarded.”

Many experts have come forth to respond to Francis’ health, with many concerned over the Holy Father.

Bruno Crestani, head of the pulmonology department at Bichat Hospital in Paris, said: “At 88 years old, being in the hospital for two weeks and having repeated episodes of respiratory discomfort is a very bad sign.”

Meanwhile, the head of pulmonology at the European Hospital in Marseille, Hervé Pegliasco, warned the significant challenges posed by double pneumonia: “There is the issue of exhaustion, because he is forced to make much more effort to breathe.”

It was previously reported the Pope joked about people betting on his death, as Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni – who visited Francis in the hospital – said he “hasn’t lost his proverbial sense of humor.”

During Meloni’s visit, it was also said the Swiss Guard, which protects the Pope, was rehearsing his funeral, as they were “preparing for the pontiff’s death.”

Should Francis move forward with his resignation, the next Pope will be chosen through a process known as a Papal Conclave, where features the Cardinals gathering in the Vatican to cast their votes for a successor.

The intricate voting process – which was showcased in the Ralph Fiennes film Conclave – concludes only when a candidate receives two-thirds of the vote.

The outcome is then revealed to the public when white smoke billows from the Sistine Chapel chimney.

The Loch Ness Centre, a museum dedicated to the world-renowned Scottish Loch, recently reported the first potential sighting of the elusive and mysterious “Loch Ness Monster” of the year.

Knewz.com has learned that the potential sighting was reported on Wednesday, March 5, and included a picture purportedly showing part of the beast’s body lurking under the surface of the Loch.

The picture was submitted to the Loch Ness Centre in Inverness by a witness who saw the slithering shape beneath the water at Dores Beach and clicked a picture.

“A witness observed what appeared to be a large, dark mass beneath the calm, still waters of the loch. The sighting, described as part of the body of Nessie submerged beneath the water, has left us intrigued by the possibility of a new glimpse of the legendary creature,” the report from the Loch Ness Centre read.

The report further mentioned that the conditions were ideal that day for “spotting unusual activity,” as the water was reportedly calm and still.

“The sighting, which lasted for several minutes, has been reviewed by The Loch Ness Centre and has claimed that it is the first potential sighting that it has been notified of in 2025,” the report added.

Nagina Ishaq, the General Manager of the Loch Ness Centre, commented on the potential Loch Ness Monster sighting saying that although the Centre has received numerous observations over the years, “this recent sighting has been particularly captivating.”

“The conditions on the day of this sighting were absolutely perfect. This could very well be our first significant sighting of the year, further fuelling the mystery surrounding Loch Ness and its most famous resident,” Ishaq was quoted as saying.

Alan Mackenna of Loch Ness Exploration also weighed in, saying:

“It’s fantastic to see the ongoing enthusiasm for scanning the waters of Loch Ness in search of the legendary monster. Whether you’re capturing intriguing sonar readings, spotting unusual surface disturbances, or noticing patterns in the loch’s natural behaviour, we’d love to hear from you.”

“Every observation adds to our understanding, whether it’s potential evidence of Nessie or new insights into the loch’s unique ecosystem. Keep sharing your findings—we’re always excited to analyse and explore what they could mean!” Mackenna added.

It is worth noting that the Centre offers a “Depscan Cruise” and an immersive one-hour “signature tour” every day, in addition to the upcoming event “The Quest,” which unites “individuals and organisations in a collective exploration to solve the mystery of Loch Ness and its elusive monster.”

Despite the enthusiasm of believers, some experts are still skeptical about the existence of “Nessie” and the validity and credibility of the so-called “sightings.”

It has been reported that during a visit to NatureMetrics, a research lab near London, British royal heir Prince William asked the institution if they had been able to “answer the nagging Nessie question” using their ability to extract and analyze environmental DNA, or eDNA.

However, Dr. Kat Bruce, the founder of NatureMetrics, claimed at the time that the testing done on Loch Ness revealed that the “Monster” was most likely a “very big eel.”

Tech mogul and Department of Government Efficiency boss Elon Musk has hinted at investigating Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelensky clashed with Donald Trump and J.D. Vance in a heated Oval Office meeting, Knewz.com can reveal.

Musk appeared to suggest Ukraine has misspent U.S. military aid in an X post hours after Trump kicked Zelensky out of the White House following their failed discussion.

Zelensky traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with President Trump and Vice President Vance in hopes of coming to an agreement to end the ongoing war in Ukraine, which recently passed the three-year mark since Vladimir Putin invaded the country.

But Zelensky and his team were reportedly told to leave the White House after their talks dissolved into chaos – and he left without signing the US-Ukraine rare minerals deal Trump previously touted.

Trump pressured Zelensky to make concessions with Russia or else “we’re out,” referring to U.S. support.

While attempting to explain his concerns about a ceasefire agreement with Russia, Zelensky was interrupted by Vance and Trump, who insisted this time would be different as Putin “respects” him due to the impeachment investigation in his first term.

Vance further alleged the war had reached a breaking point due to the Biden administration’s actions.

The intense discussion concluded with Trump and Vance berating Zelensky, as the vice president asked if he had ever “thanked” the U.S. for its support over the last three years and accused him of being “disrespectful.”

While world leaders reacted to the disastrous meeting, Musk took to his social media platform and insinuated the Trump administration should investigate aid sent to Ukraine.

The DOGE boss wrote: “Time to find out what really happened to the hundreds of billions of dollars sent to Ukraine …”

Social media users flooded Musk’s comments and corrected his suggestion that the government was sending “cash” overseas.

One X user wrote: “Dude, it was ammunition and weapons systems, we did NOT send “hundreds of billions” in cash…”

Another said: “Because our total contribution to them was approximately 300 billion. Much of it in arms and armaments, it’s out there for anyone to find.”

A third added: “This leads to the question: What if you found out that most of this money was physically transferred to your US military-industrial complex to finance supplies for the Ukrainians’ fight against the aggressor?”

While some attempted to call out Musk, others agreed with the Tesla founder.

One supporter wrote: “Let’s find out and prosecute the money laundering criminals. We need to bring back accountability. When was the last time anyone has gone to jail for the crimes that get exposed daily?”

Another echoed: “Yes! @DOGE, do your thang!”

Musk wasn’t the only one to turn to social media posting following the explosive meeting.

Trump took to Truth Social after Zelensky’s abrupt departure.

His post stated: “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations.

” I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE.”

“He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for peace,” Trump added.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs may have “sold his soul to the devil,” according to a paranormal expert – as rumors the disgraced rapper was into necromancy continues to spread like wildfire, Knewz.com can reveal.

The 55-year-old’s lawyer Anthony Ricco recently filed a motion to withdraw as one of Combs’ six defense attorneys without explanation, leading to plenty of theories.

Following Ricco’s exit, a TikTok user claimed he made the decision due to an alleged necromancy-related charge brought forth against Combs.

The social media user explained at the time: “Necromancy is like magic, you know, that’s more supernatural. That’s like magic dealing with dead bodies and corpses, reanimation – that’s necromancy. I don’t know that Diddy is able to do that.

“Necrophilia, that’s not magic. That’s still sick and disgusting, but that ain’t magic. That’s just people who like to have physical relations with bodies that are no longer alive.”

Paranormal expert Richard Moschella said there are signs the music mogul may have messed around with very sinister forces – adding he could be so desperate to save himself from life in jail he may have done a pact with Satan before he was locked up on federal charges.

The Spirits and History writer said: “If Combs is truly practicing necromancy and not just communicating with the spirit world like a medium would, but rather getting into the darker realms, then that could be very serious.

“If he is communicating with darker energies and opening himself up and is not truly prepared and understand what he’s dealing with that could be a very big problem.

“This could also be scaring anyone around him (in prison.)

“Someone who is backed into a corner as much as himself, could see (communicating with the devil) as a last attempt (to keep himself out of jail)… almost like that term selling your soul to the devil.”

Necromancy holds no legal standing in the United States.

Ricco filed his motion in a Manhattan federal court, and wrote in the affidavit: “Under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for Sean Combs. It is respectfully but regrettably requested that the court grant the relief requested.”

Combs is currently behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after being charged with racketeering conspiracy, fraud or coercion, sex trafficking by force, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has been denied bail three times.

Since his arrest in September 2024, Combs has been hit with countless lawsuits, including being accused of sexually assaulting a male escort and threatening to have him killed.

According to the suit, the plaintiff – identified as John Doe – traveled to New York City in order to meet Combs at the Intercontinental Hotel. Upon entering the room, Doe claimed he met with Combs and an unidentified female companion.

Combs then ordered the male escort to perform oral sex on the woman and also perform demeaning sex acts on her, Doe claimed in the court documents.

In the lawsuit, Doe also accused Combs of anally sodomizing him inside of a bathroom.

The I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker is said to have threatened Doe, telling him he would have someone kill him just like Tupac Shakur. The Changes rapper was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in September 1996.

Combs’ legal team has denied these accusations.

Casey Anthony is back in the public eye as she’s decided to join TikTok almost 15 years after she was found not guilty in her daughter Caylee’s death in a trial that rocked the world.

The now 38-year-old promoted her Substack and said she is now a legal advocate – comments that left viewers reeling, Knewz.com can reveal.

Casey said in the three-minute video: “I am a legal advocate, I am a researcher, I’ve been in the legal field since 2011 and in this capacity, I feel that it’s necessary, if I’m going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate, that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter.

“For those of you who don’t know, my name is Casey Anthony. My daughter is Caylee Anthony. My parents are George and Cindy Anthony. This is not about them. This is not in response to anything that they have said or done. … The whole point of this is for me to begin to reintroduce myself.”

Casey also hinted at the brutal backlash she has received since becoming an obsession of millions in 2008.

She said: “As a proponent for the LGBTQ community, for legal community, women’s rights, I feel that it’s important that I use this platform that was thrust upon me and now look at as a blessing, as opposed to the curse that it has been since 2008.”

“I am proverbially standing in the light, embracing this piece, still going to keep my privacy intact…and I will explain in great detail why it’s so important for people to protect their privacy. … With the current climate in our country especially, it’s that much more important,” Casey added.

Users on X were left raging as they were quick to respond in the comments section.

One person said: “Casey Anthony being on TikTok was not on my 2025 bingo card, and the amount of followers she has makes me physically sick..”

Another reacted: “We need to shame Casey Anthony right back into obscurity. There will never be enough time passed to erase what she did,” and a third added, “Who let Casey Anthony on TikTok?”

“Screw that baby killer!” a user raged.

Casey was dropped into the spotlight after her daughter Caylee was missing for months. Eventually she was charged with murder after the three-year-old was found dead in the woods near the home of Casey’s parents.

While Casey was found not guilty of murder, she was convicted of lying to law enforcement.

He said: “I was able to keep my promise to Mamma and take care of her for the last 12 years of her life. At the end, I wasn’t ready to let her go, even though she was in a lot of pain. I’m glad she has no more pain, but I miss her every single day. I can still hear her singing in the church choir.”

Forgiveness

“On Fridays, my father, Emmitt, would come home from work, his week’s pay folded into the back pocket of his overalls,” said Perry. “He’d take a long bath, put on his creased jeans and freshly laundered plaid shirt and yell at us to find his shoes, a hint of the storm to come.

“When he came home hours later, stinking of alcohol and cigarettes, there would be hell to pay. He’d stomp through the house, and if anyone got in his way, he would explode, his fists flying. He beat my mother, he beat me, he beat all of us.”

God’s Timing Is Not Yours

“My dream was to write and perform,” said Perry, who wrote and produced Diary of a Mad Black Woman, which shot him to fame.

“For five back-breaking years, I worked at producing my play I Know I’ve Been Changed. The first time I did it, I spent every cent I had. I figured opening night would be packed. You know how many people showed up? Thirty.”

He kept rewriting the play and renting theaters, but nothing changed.

One night, he said about feeling hopeless: “I got up and started pacing, speaking out loud to God: ‘You gave me these dreams and then you don’t see me through. What’s going on?’ God spoke right back: ‘I’ll tell you when it’s over. You don’t tell me. You will persevere! Now look out the window.’ I went to the window and gazed outside. There were people lined up around the block. The performance was a huge success.”

Keep Praying

“Prayer really can change things,” said the filmmaker.

“If it had not been for the Lord on my side I don’t know where I would be … nothing is impossible for God.”
