US Tipped Off Iran Before ISIS Terror Attack

The US secretly warned Iran about a potential terrorist attack by ISIS-K before the group carried out a deadly assault near the burial site of Qasem Soleimani on January 3. 

The warning was delivered over a week before the dual suicide bombings occurred, but no further details were provided on how the US conveyed the warning. 

ISIS-K emerged in Afghanistan in 2015 and has gained strength since the US withdrawal from the country.
