Footage of the Ukrainian armed forces’ preparations leading up to their Kursk incursion has surfaced, and it shows the daring work that went into the rout.

Knewz.com has learned of a video depicting the various activities including mining, infiltration, silent capture of Russian soldiers, and surveillance that went into the effort.

Said video kicked off with soldiers speaking in breathless hushed tones as they tabbed through tall grass, laden with equipment. An operative is pictured holding a piece of equipment in dense foliage while one of his teammates scours the ground below the thick overgrowth for anti-personnel traps.

Another gives a silent order with his outstretched arm, whereafter the footage focuses on a camo-clad duo laying mines across a tarred road before running back to their watchful teammates.

The next phase of the covert operation involved cutting a hole through barbed wire when the road behind them exploded as they detonated the mines.

The troops are later seen leading a group of males (presumably captured Russian soldiers) single-file down a forest track with their hands bound behind their backs.

Once the group reached a clearing, Putin’s captured soldiers were made to kneel and examined by their captors. At this point, Ukrainian soldiers appear to be looking for scars and body markings.

When a burn mark is discovered and queried, one of the Russians can be heard explaining: “I just got burned, everything is fine.”

The footage comes two weeks after Volodymyr Zelensky’s incursion on Kursk. Then, a reported 1,000 troops and a few armored vehicles stunned the incumbent Russian forces with a shock attack.

As Ukraine's operation progressed, reports emerged of hundreds of elite Russian soldiers being captured, while others fled.

The Chechen Republic’s highly revered Kadyrov special forces were also sent into the area but their presence was soon marred by pro-Vladimir Putin bloggers accusing them of collaborating with the Ukrainian troops and in some cases, fleeing.

Ukraine has since claimed responsibility for the destruction of two bridges in Kursk, one of which (it alleges) was a key artery in Russia’s military supply chain.

The Kremlin has since confirmed the attack on the bridge, but claimed that the projectiles used were of Western origin.

A video released by a Ukrainian Air Force officer depicts the structure engulfed in a cloud of smoke and dust.

When the air cleared, the footage showed a significant piece of the bridge missing.

Ukraine’s leader has since weighed in on his troop's activities in the area claiming that they were now focused on enforcing their positions.

These reports come amidst others that Putin’s troops are making steady progress in their westward drive in the Donetsk region.

According to the Moscow Times, the Russian military released a statement indicating that it had captured the “major” settlement of Artemovo (Zalizne to Ukrainians).

The publication, designated a foreign agent by the Kremlin, credits Ukraine‘s failures in the region to attrition, manpower, and equipment shortages.
