No, that's not Luisa from "Encanto" in the TikTok above. It's NASM-certified personal trainer Rebecca Dundee working out to "Surface Pressure" from the movie's soundtrack. Dundee, aka @iambeckydee — who bears a strong resemblance to the Disney character — created the video to give her followers a muscle-building upper-body workout inspired by Luisa. To learn more about the motivation behind this strength workout, POPSUGAR spoke to Dundee via email.
"I was getting tagged all over the place by friends and family," Dundee tells POPSUGAR. Dundee realized that she had "never felt more seen than at that moment" when she discovered her cartoon doppelganger. She decided to post a video of herself posing like Luisa. "I would read so many comments about how they wished they could have a build like that," Dundee says about the Luisa workout. "What better way to educate people than by being in character?"
