Ingredients
- Ice
1 1/2 ounces single pot still Irish whiskey, like Tullamore Dew
1 1/4 ounces Irish red ale, like Murphy's
1/4 ounce clover honey syrup (equal parts clover honey and boiling water)
Orange peel
Grated nutmeg, for garnish
Directions
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add whiskey, ale, and honey syrup. Close and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a chilled, large coup glass. Take an orange peel and express the oil over the cocktail. Run around the edge of the glass and discard. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
