This is the lightest, fluffiest, and easiest sponge cake you'll ever make — and we're making it even better with the addition of our favorite cereal, Fruity Pebbles! And guess what? It's all made in a rice cooker — it couldn't be easier to make or clean up.
Fruity Pebbles Rice Cooker Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup Fruity Pebbles, ground
Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Fruity Pebbles
- Special equipment:
Rice cooker
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, egg, milk, and sugar. Grind up Fruity Pebbles and fold into batter.
- Spray inside of rice maker with nonstick cooking spray and pour batter into the bowl. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the cake is cooking, whip together heavy whipping cream and sugar.
- When cake is finished cooking, flip onto a plate and cover with whipped cream and garnish with more Fruity Pebbles.
