McDonald's Iconic Shamrock Shake Gets a Grown-Up Twist

McDonald's Shamrock Shake is a cult classic and a seasonal favorite, so in honor of St. Patrick's Day, we're giving it a grown-up twist. Watch the video to see how to take this childhood favorite into adult territory.

Adult Shamrock Shake

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1 ounce crème de menthe liqueur
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
6 drops green food coloring
Whipped cream
2 maraschino cherries, optional

Directions

Add ice cream, milk, crème de menthe liqueur, peppermint extract, and green food coloring to a blender, and blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
Divide between two glasses, and top each glass with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
