How to Throw a Springy Indoor Soirée With Your Roommates While Social Distancing

For many of you, sheltering in place means spending a lot of time with your roommates. Whether those you share your home with are your BFFs or just acquaintances, this is the perfect excuse to spend time getting to know one another through fun activities. Just because you’re stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t revel in a good old-fashioned house party — even if there’s no guest list.
The companionship of friends during this time could even help mitigate the stress of the times, especially when the gathering is centered on self-care, silliness, and appreciating girl power. So instead of shutting your doors to one another, bring the party to your own living room with a springy at-home soirée.

Take some time for self-care, whether that means face masking, experimenting with different types of hair braids, giving each other mani/pedis, or testing out the latest makeup trends. Lean into the spring vibes with warm-weather cocktails like mint juleps, Moscow Mules, or a crisp glass of Rosé, and play parlor games like Charades or 20 questions.
And don't forget about food! Have everyone pitch in to create an overflowing tablescape full of treats. If you and your roomies who like to cook together or you're the type to cook while the others relax with a drink in hand, look no further than an indulgent hamburger pie, made with Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup. All you need to make this crowd-pleaser is one skillet and 30 minutes (get the full recipe here). And don't forget about dessert! Consider ordering in from your favorite local bakery.

The only other thing you need to make sure your evening of roommate bonding goes off without a hitch? Buttery bowls of popcorn for optimal movie marathoning! And, of course, the people who help us stay sane during these strange times. What would we do without our crew to keep us grounded — and encourage a little childlike fun every now and again?
