The Correct Way to Open a Bottle of Champagne

What's the right Champagne to choose for a special dinner party versus a classic go-to? Elettra Wiedemann of Impatient Foodie and 2015 ambassador for Moët & Chandon visited us to share some fun facts about Champagne and even showed us how to make the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards' official cocktail, the Moët Bijou Rouge.

Moët Bijou Rouge

Ingredients

1. 1 ounce gin
   1/4 ounce dry Curacao
   3/8 ounce sweet vermouth
   2 dashes orange bitters
   Brandied cherry
   Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial

Directions

1. Combine gin, Curacao, sweet vermouth, and orange bitters in an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass. Add a brandied cherry and top with Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial.
