The e.l.f. Cosmetics brush, in particular, features intertwined tiny bristles that are designed to catch-hold each individual lash, separate them from each other, then coat them with a ton of pigment. Because the bristles evenly distribute the pigment and define each lash, the mascara allows you to create a more voluminous, fuller look without a ton of clumping.
