Jennifer Aniston Gets a Hair "Dusting" Ahead of Summer

Jennifer Aniston is welcoming the summer months with a hair update. The actor's hairstylist, Chris McMillan, posted a picture of the two of them while simultaneously revealing Aniston's new cut: a light hair "dusting."

Captioning the photo, "Nothing better than a fresh summer cut✂️for @jenniferaniston," McMillan went on to write that a good summer haircut should do the heavy lifting for you, allowing you to wash and wear your hair with ease. If you're looking for a minimal hair change, this age-old technique may be for you. "Hair dusting is cutting a very small amount of hair," Leonardo Manetti, master stylist at Rob Peetoom Salon Williamsburg, previously told POPSUGAR. "It's similar to a trim, except there is less hair that is cut."

While every hair type can benefit from a "dusting," it's particularly helpful for retaining length while also getting rid of split ends.
