Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Tattoo Collection Keeps Growing
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan can cross "get a tattoo" off her "never have I ever" list. At 21, the actor has already amassed quite the tattoo collection — at least four so far — with multiple designs paying tribute to her favorite pop culture references. On August 1, Ramakrishnan added a new piece of body art to her collection: the fairy Navi from the popular video game franchise The Legend of Zelda. She got the ink on a recent trip to NYC, rounding out her collection of video game-inspired designs.
Before that, she got an interlocked heart tattoo on her inner forearm. "The most flattering angle," she captioned the photo of herself lying down on the tattoo table as Instagram user @sugi_kitch got to work applying the design. The finished product featured cartoonish sparkles adorning the hearts on either side.
The arm tattoo isn't the first bit of ink she's shared on social media. On April 19, Ramakrishnan posted bikini photos on Instagram, revealing a never-before-seen thigh tattoo and a hidden hip tattoo. The thigh tattoo, located on her right side, features a hyper-realistic drawing of the character Eren from the anime series "Attack on Titan," one of her favorite series. On her left hip, Ramakrishnan also paid tribute to one of her favorite video game character, Kirby, with an adorable tattoo of the puffball riding a star through space.
Aside from sharing a few brief snapshots of her body art, Ramakrishnan hasn't revealed the meaning behind her tattoos or posted any additional bits of ink. It's unclear whether she plans to add any new works of art to her collection, but with her clear love of all things Nintendo, maybe another Super Smash Bros. character will be joining Kirby in the future.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's "Attack on Titan" Tattoo
It's unclear which of her two hip tattoos Ramakrishnan got inked first. The star has been a longtime fan of the popular anime series "Attack on Titan," though, so it's likely that her first tattoo was a tribute to the series. The body art, a screengrab of her favorite character, Eren, was inked by Instagram user @lyn.anime.
"I finally met her!" the artist captioned photos of Ramakrishnan's thigh tattoo on Instagram on June 4, 2022. "It's an honor to meet you and I love it your work. Thank you for trust me." Ramakrishnan shared her gratitude for the tattoo artist's hard work in the comments section. "you are so talented, thank you again so much," she said. "can't wait for the next tattoo!"
Ramakrishnan has been vocal about her appreciation for the TV show on social media. "first time *rewatching* AOT since 2014/2015 and I feel so nostalgic. it's been too long without eren," Ramakrishnan captioned a screenshot from the show on Twitter on Jan. 30, 2022.
On April 24, Ramakrishnan shared a photo of herself lying on the tattoo table. "throwback to when I got the eren tattoo," she captioned a photo of herself on her Instagram Stories.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Kirby Tattoo
On April 19, Ramakrishnan debuted two tattoos on her Instagram grid, including her "Attack on Titan" thigh tattoo and a tattoo of the Nintendo character Kirby on her left hip. "incoming: spain thirst trap," she captioned a photo of herself in an orange bikini. While slightly obscured by the tie on her bikini bottoms, the Kirby tattoo appears to feature the character riding on a star through the clouds.
Not long before the post was made, she also got to meet the character in real life. "Well I met my hero and I was NOT disappointed," she captioned a photo of herself beside a life-size Kirby mascot on Instagram on Feb. 27. "I got to celebrate the release of Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe which is now available on the Nintendo Switch with Kirby himself! This was the best surprise ever!"
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Heart Tattoo
On April 24, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan swung by Sugi Tattoo's parlor for her third bit of ink: an interlaced heart tattoo on her left forearm. The design, located just above her inner elbow, features two cartoon-style sparkles on either side and what appears to be a mountain range inside the larger heart. "The most flattering angle," she jokingly captioned a photo of herself laying down on the tattoo table.
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Navi From The Legend of Zelda Tattoo
In August 2023, Ramakrishnan shared a series of photos from her recent trip to NYC where she visited the Nintendo store and got a new tattoo. Her latest design appears to be of Navi from the popular video game franchise, The Legend of Zelda. It also has little sparkles around it. She tagged tattoo artist Rachel Song in the photo.
