Giles maintains that this mascara lifts the way it promises. "I have short lashes that never stay up unless I'm using this mascara," she says. "It's the only one I've found that really works perfectly for me." It has a double-hook bristle brush that coats every lash for long, defined lashes that don't smudge.

The brand suggests lifting first with the front hook bristles to length, swiping from root to tip, and then using the side hook to comb and define lashes. The product is ophthalmologist tested and formaldehyde-free.

Caudalíe Grape Water Moisturizing Face Mist ($12)

"I use this to refresh my face in the morning. I have dry skin so I wake up feeling dehydrated and this fixes it right away without me having to do my whole skin-care routine," Giles says, highlighting it particularly for those who are constantly on the go or always traveling. Best for those who experience dryness, redness, and uneven texture, the antioxidant-rich product is vegan.

The 100 percent grape water is what delivers intense hydration and a soothing sensation, according to the brand.

MAC Cosmetics Chestnut Lip Liner Pencil ($12)

"This is a Black girl staple for a reason," Giles says. "It's the perfect brown liner that will turn any ashy lipstick into a gorgeous, natural lip color."

Famously praised by professional makeup artists, the pencil has a smooth and creamy texture that supports in drawing the perfect line without drags or skips. Other popular shades include Oak (a beige-brown) and Caviar (black), and you can use it with an additional lipstick or gloss, or without.

This blush, offered in a wide variety of shades, comes in a pudding pot and can be used on lips, eyes, and cheeks. It's blendable and buildable, providing a "blurring" effect with a velvety-matte finish. Giles uses it for monochromatic looks. "[This blush is] so pigmented and creamy that [it] works perfectly on dark skin," she says.

d'Alba Italian White Truffle First Spray Serum ($20)

"I love spray-on skin care because it's so easy to apply," Giles says. "This serum keeps my skin hydrated and glowy in the morning and after a long day of filming. I use it every day."

Perfect for dry skin, this spray has a citrus floral scent and includes premium white truffles that were extracted from Piedmont, Italy and infused with vitamin E. It's rich in antioxidants, certified vegan, and hypoallergenic.

Giles is the face of K-beauty brand TIRTIR, which she deems her greatest career accomplishment thus far. "It made such an impact on the beauty community as a whole. A Black woman has never been the face of a K-Beauty brand until now. Honestly, it is something I didn't think would ever happen, but I'm happy it did," she says, explaining that she relies on this foundation most prominently during the winter months, when she wants her skin to look smooth and matte.

"[It] literally makes your face look like a filter. A revolutionary product in the Korean beauty industry that everyone should support." This foundation is the first in the Korean beauty space offering 40 different shades, largely thanks to Giles's influence.

Morphe Jumbo Continuous Setting Spray ($25)

"This setting spray keeps my makeup from looking dry and cakey after I apply powder," she says. "It helps blend all the products on my face, leaving a skin-like finish and my face looks glowy, but not shiny." The ingredients of this spray include vitamin E, vitamin B5, and fruit extracts. You should hold it eight to 10 inches away from your face during use, right after you've finished your makeup.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna The Homecurl Curl-Defining Styling Cream ($28)

"The Fenty curl cream is my new best friend," Giles says. "Having curly hair means you use a million different products, but Homecurl makes it a one-step styling precess, which I love. It's great for everyday use and super fast and easy to apply — which is great when typically it takes me hours to do my hair. Saving time is essential."

While the product works well with all hair textures, it's particularly compatible with damaged ends and helps to tame frizz and flyaways.

Hera Sensual Nude Gloss ($36)

"This is my current every day lip gloss. It's sheer, but leaves the perfect wash of color on your lips and it's not sticky. Plus, these shades work on everyone." It's notably a favorite product of K-pop star Jennie Kim and is meant to help you achieve voluptuous, fuller-looking lips, according to the brand.

The transparent formula is available in five different shades and provides a "flush," without an actual swipe of pigment.
