Daddy — whoops, we mean Pedro Pascal — graced the Met Gala 2023 white carpet last night, and his whole look had the entire Internet in a frenzy. The theme for this year's event was "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," and attendees were expected to pay tribute to the designer with their fashion and beauty choices. They certainly did just that – both at the event itself and the after-parties.
The "Last of Us" actor arrived on May 1 wearing black Valentino short shorts, which allowed us to fully witness his thigh tattoo in all its glory, a bright red wool coat, and a matching button down with a black skinny tie. He also opted for calf-length black socks and combat boots. Our eyes, however, were glued to his manicure, which had a fun detail you probably missed at first glance.
While most of Pascal's nails were kept short, buffed, and without artwork, both of his middle fingers were decorated with a black "V" — the Valentino logo. The manicure was done by Christina Tran, who used Kokoist USA in Blackest Black ($11) to create the design and Function of Vex Ceramic Matte Topcoat ($15) to finish off the look.
Take a closer look at Pascal's nails ahead.
