Kristen Stewart Kicks Off Award Season at a Star-Studded Gala in NYC

Award season has begun, and on Tuesday evening, a collection of stars gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street for the National Board of Review Gala in NYC. Kristen Stewart looked effortlessly cool in all white, while Jessica Chastain glowed in a gorgeous green gown. In addition to a rare appearance by Maggie Gyllenhaal and her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, Samuel L. Jackson posed for a series of fun photos with his costar, Jennifer Jason Leigh, who won best supporting actress for her role in The Hateful Eight. Among the other winners of the night were Matt Damon for his performance in The Martian, Brie Larson for her work in Room, as well as Creed actor Sylvester Stallone and 8-year-old breakthrough actor Jacob Tremblay.
