18 Reasons Harry Styles Should Be Your New Celebrity Crush

If you're new to the Harry Styles fandom, I'd like to welcome you. I'm happy to have new fans to talk all things Harry with, but let me warn you: once you're with us, you're basically stuck. You see, Harry has a way about him that sucks you in and keeps you hooked for life. We're lifers, if you will. We love Harry dearly and support him endlessly, we worry that he's not sleeping enough while he's on tour, and we make fun of him when he tells a stupid joke. We're a family, this fandom, and this family is about to grow now that solo Harry is taking the music world by storm.

If you're just discovering Harry and still can't decide if he's worthy of your love (I'm not judging, but I don't understand how you could possibly waver for more than, like, three seconds), let me give you 18 reasons loving him is a totally valid and wise decision. Time to put "Kiwi" on blast and settle in, fam, because we're stuck with this British babe until the bitter end.

Because his new music is outstanding

If you haven't listened to Harry Styles by Harry Styles, what are you even doing with your life?

He's got the smolder down pat

And he's oh so dreamy

He's appreciative of his admirers

While I imagine it's a weird feeling to be so followed and loved, Harry is always gracious with his fans and thanks them for support.

His hair is a reason all on its own

Harry's hair has gone through many phases, from short curls to long luscious locks and back to a shorter 'do.

Even when he's jokingly singing, it's better than when you do it

I can't sing at all, so even when he's scream-singing, it's better than I could ever dream of being.

His love of love

Harry loves love. He calls for peace and equality wherever he can and encourages everyone to spread love and kindness.

Because he moves like this

Harry was born to be on stage. He loves to prance and put on a show, and I can guarantee that if you see him live, you'll walk out of that theater or arena with a smile on your face and your love for him settled deep into your heart.

He's hilarious

Even when he's not trying to be. His jokes are horrible, but he thinks they're funny, and that's good enough for me.

He can't dance

But he can do this, and I like this.

The nose scrunch

It's adorable, enough said.

Even flowers spontaneously combust around him

I can't say I blame them. He's pretty wonderful.

Who doesn't love a good compliment? Harry sure does.

He's very healthy

But not in an obnoxious way. He likes to work out and eat healthy, but he's not the type to be in your face about it. At least, that's my best guess. Because unfortunately Harry and I aren't actually friends so I don't technically know this. Minor detail.

His willingness to be fashionable

He loves prints, he loves colors, and he loves to look pretty. And I love to look at him looking pretty.

His love of One Direction

1D may be done, but Harry has been very outspoken about how grateful he is for his time in the band. His relationship with the boys will forever be one of his best traits.

And because he loves you back

Trust me, Harry loves us all.
