6 of TikTok's Most Successful (aka Richest) Stars
For most of us, TikTok is just a fun way to pass the time, whether you make videos or just watch them. But for some of the richest TikTok stars (at least the ones who aren't already celebs), the social media platform has become a full-time — and highly lucrative — job.
The biggest stars on the platform, most of whom have tens of millions of followers, have been able to turn their signature videos into steady income. While most of the stars on this list embrace the standard musical and lip-sync videos that TikTok is best known for, there's more variety here than you might think!
Although there's no official "power ranking" of the richest stars, we've made some educated guesses thanks to the endorsements and other deals the most popular influencers have made. Ahead, check out the details on six TikTok stars who have turned their millions of followers into major dough.
Loren Gray
Loren is undoubtedly one of the highest-paid TikTok stars right now — up until late March, she was the most followed, too. She specializes in lip-sync and musical videos after transferring over from the now-defunct Musical.ly, and according to Digiday, she signed a real record deal with Virgin Records in 2018. TMZ reported that she got a $550K advance for her first album and can make up to $4.8 million across her second, third, and fourth albums.
Charli D'Amelio
Not only did she surpass Loren Gray's follower count in March, but Charli has also built her account in less than a year and snagged some major deals with big companies. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she signed with talent agency UTA in January, along with her sister Dixie. Soon after, she starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Sabra Hummus — presumably the first of many lucrative gigs.
Baby Ariel
Baby Ariel, aka Ariel Martin, has found ways to expand her career beyond just simple lip-syncs: she's getting roles on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, presumably with some serious dough in return for bringing her millions of followers to the shows. She's been signed with agency CAA since 2016, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Gil Croes
TikTok isn't the only source of followers and income for Gil. He also runs the Croes Bros YouTube channel with his brother Jayden, who's also a major TikTok personality, and the brothers often appear in each other's videos.
Jacob Sartorius
Jacob turned his Vine and Musical.ly fame into a legit record contract — he is signed with T3 Music Group and toured back in 2017. He also famously dated Millie Bobby Brown, although they're not together anymore.
Spencer X
The popular beatboxer has turned to sponsorships to make some cash from his millions of followers. According to Business Insider, he's recently gotten a deal with Monster Energy.
