Saoirse Ronan and Greta Gerwig's Friendship Has Been Lighting Up Award Season

While Timothée Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan's Hollywood companionship may leave your heart a few degrees warmer, it's her friendship with Greta Gerwig that will melt it. Saoirse plays the gutsy, outspoken teen Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson in Lady Bird, which was written and directed by Greta. The film has been nominated for a string of awards, including five Academy Awards, prompting multiple appearances from the duo. Greta and Saoirse presented hand in hand on stage at the ARP's 17th annual Movies For Grownups Awards on Feb. 5.

On the same day, the pair shared a tender moment at the Academy Awards Nominee Luncheon.
