The cast of Selling Sunset doesn't hold much back on the Netflix show. We've gotten stories about exes, finances, and so much more. So while we already feel like we know the employees of the Oppenheim Group pretty well, there are always more fun facts to soak up. We found some fun tidbits about the Oppenheim brothers and their staff so you can get to know them all better before season four (hopefully) starts streaming. Keep reading to check it all out and then peruse the most lavish homes seen on Selling Sunset — including that $44 million home!
Christine Quinn
- Christine Quinn knows she was typecast as the villain of the show, but she loves it. She told Women's Health that all her favorite fictional characters growing up were Disney villains.
- Christine was engaged three times before getting married to Christian Richard in 2019. She said early in the show that she didn't believe in divorce so it made more sense to break the engagements than to get divorced later.
- She used to go by Christine Bently or Christine Bently Quinn. Once Selling Sunset started, though, she dropped Bently to just be Christine Quinn.
Mary Fitzgerald
- Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet, may have gotten married on Selling Sunset, but they were actually already married. According to Today, the two wed in a civil ceremony in June 2018.
- Before working for the Oppenheim Group, Mary previously worked for the Candy brothers in New York and London.
- She shares her dogs Niko and Zelda with ex boyfriend Jason Oppenheim. You can see the pups on the show often — they're usually hanging out in the office.
Amanza Smith
- Amanza Smith has a few other jobs outside the Oppenheim Group, including running her own interior design business for kids' spaces, called Kidterior Design.
- Amanza spent time as a briefcase model on Deal or No Deal a few years ago.
- You can see one of Amanza's former flames on Selling Sunset — actor Taye Diggs, who appears in season one of the show, is one of Amanza's ex boyfriends. The two dated from 2014 to 2018 before calling it quits.
Chrishell Stause
- Chrishell Stause didn't always have a glamorous life. She spoke on Selling Sunset about growing up poor and she told Soaps.com that there were two instances as a child that she was homeless and living out of a car with her mom.
- She's well-known for her relationship with actor Justin Hartley, but years ago Chrishell dated Matthew Morrison. They were briefly engaged but ended up splitting before getting married. Chrishell said on Selling Sunset that Matthew was a "d*ck."
- She's a huge fan of Big Brother. Not only does she tweet along with the show, but she has even made an appearance at the house.
Heather Rae Young
- The reason we haven't seen Heather Rae Young's fiane Tarek el Moussa on Selling Sunset is simply a conflict in networks. Because Tarek is on HGTV, he hasn't been able to be on Netflix. However, Heather told BuzzFeed that everything had been worked out for him to make an appearance on season four.
- Heather loved Playboy growing up so it was a dream come true to become a Playboy model. She was Miss February and the December 2010 Playmate.
- Heather's also vegan, which you can hear her mention throughout Selling Sunset.
Davina Potratz
- Davina Potratz is originally from Germany but moved to California to attend Pepperdine University in Malibu.
- Her listings extend beyond Selling Sunset — Davina also had homes featured on Million Dollar Listing.
- She has her own withSimplicity makeup line, with products made from natural ingredients to rejuvenate skin.
Maya Vander
- Maya Vander spends a lot of time commuting between Los Angeles and Miami, where her family is. She's also working in real estate in Miami, for Douglas Elliman.
- Though she has two children, she told Women's Health that they won't appear on the show due to filming constraints.
- Maya said after her second child, Elle, was born that the birth was quick. "Ten minutes, I was pushing, and she was out."
Jason Oppenheim
- Jason Oppenheim made The Hollywood Reporter's list of the 30 top real estate agents in Hollywood in 2019.
- He's closed more than $1 billion in home sales in his career.
- Jason went to college at UC Berkeley to study law and started his career in that field. However, he couldn't resist the family real estate business and switched gears to selling luxury homes instead, including homes of several A-list celebrities.
Brett Oppenheim
- Like Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim also started his career in law before switching to real estate.
- Brett's net worth is an estimated $50 million.
- Despite what may have appeared to be a rift between Brett and his brother, causing Brett to start his own brokerage, that's not actually what happened. The brothers are still best friends and very close.
Romain Bonnet
- Romain Bonnet met his future wife, Mary Fitzgerald, just two days after flying in from France to relocate to LA to pursue a career in modeling.
- Romain works for the Oppenheim Group now too. According to Women's Health, Romain is a project manager.
- He's obviously a model (and is signed with Wilhelmina), but Romain also used to work as a pastry chef.
