We can already tell that American Horror Storyseason eight is going to be epic. Not only will the upcoming season be a crossover of Coven and Murder House, but it already has a star-studded cast. Sarah Paulson was the first person confirmed for Apocalypse, and now creator Ryan Murphy has revealed a handful of actors who will be joining her. Spoiler: some of them are AHS alums! In October 2017, AdWeek confirmed that she would be returning for season eight.

Even though he'll be busy starring in Murphy's new show, Pose, the showrunner confirmed that Peters would be back for the anthology series.

Murphy told Entertainment Weekly that Bates is returning to AHS this season. "Kathy and Sarah Paulson have a lot of great stuff to get to do," he said. "So, with Evan Peters, the three of them are the leads this year."

The Australian actor, who played David Madson in American Crime Story season two, is on board as Michael Langdon. The character is the result of Vivien and Tate's unholy union in season one, and also the antichrist who will likely bring about season eight's titular Apocalypse.

The Wrap also revealed McDermott's return for the eighth season. The Murder House alum will most likely be reprising his role as Ben Harmon from season one and was spotted filming on set in Los Angeles.
