Gossip Girl: HBO Max Unveils a Handful of Characters' Names For the Upcoming Reboot

HBO Max's Gossip Girl reboot is introducing us to the next generation of Manhattan's elite. After production was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the series kicked off filming in NYC in November. The show is set to take place eight years after the original Gossip Girl site went dark and will feature a handful of new students at Constance Billard School for Girls and St. Jude's School for Boys as they get introduced to the infamous site. While most details about the show are being kept under wraps, HBO Max recently unveiled a handful of characters names on Instagram alongside some telling descriptors like "style," "power," and "innocence."

While there's no word yet on whether the original cast members will make an appearance, Kristen Bell is returning as the voice of Gossip Girl herself. You know you love it! Keep reading to find out who has signed up for the reboot, so far.

Emily Alyn Lind as Audrey Hope

The Code Black actress will play a character named Audrey who has been in a relationship for a while and is "beginning to wonder what more could be out there." Her character is described as "grace." Sounds like the perfect mix of Blair Waldorf's idols, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly.

Jordan Alexander as Julien Calloway

The singer and actress will be playing one of the show's leads, who is described as "influence."

Thomas Doherty as Max Wolfe

The Descendants alum will be one of the stars of the show, and his character is described as "freedom." Anyone else getting Chuck Bass vibes?

Zion Moreno as Luna La

The model is another star in the cast, and her character is described as "style." We are so ready for the incredible outfits!

Eli Brown as Otto “Obie” Bergman IV

The actor, who recently starred on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, will be one of the main stars. His character is described as "privilege."

Savannah Smith as Monet de Haan

Smith will play one of the leads on the show, marking one of her first onscreen roles. Her character is described as "power."

Evan Mock as Akeno “Aki” Menzies

The model will one of the main stars on the show, and his character is described as "innocence."

Tavi Gevinson as Kate Keller

The writer turned actress will also star on the show. Her character is described as "ambition."

Whitney Peak as Zoya Lott

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress will also star on the show, and her character is described as "perspective."

Adam Chanler-Berat

The Broadway actor, who previously starred in Next to Normal with Gossip Girl alum Aaron Tveit, will be part of the cast.

Jason Gotay

The Broadway alum will appear on the series.

Johnathan Fernandez

The actor, who previously starred on Lethal Weapon, will be part of the ensemble cast.
