Killing Eve fans, rejoice, because season three is arriving a whole two weeks earlier than anticipated. BBC America just announced that the tantalizing spy drama's highly anticipated third installment will now debut on Sunday, April 12, at 9 p.m., rather than the original premiere date of April 26.
The network spread the news by (finally!) sharing the official trailer, in which Villanelle (Jodie Comer) learns that Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) is, in fact, still alive despite getting shot. We catch a few glimpses at how their lives picked back up — Villanelle appears to move into a huge new pad in Barcelona, while Eve is stress-eating at the thought of a reunion with the assassin — until Eve receives a voice message of Villanelle saying, "Admit it, Eve — you wish I was here," via a glowing, heart-shaped speaker. *Chills*
Killing Eve's second season wrapped up in Rome, where Eve and Villanelle planned to run away together, only for Villanelle to unexpectedly shoot the MI6 operative in the back (but TBH, we kind of expected it based on her erratic nature). Eve and Villanelle will appear alongside other returning characters, including Carolyn Martens (played by Fiona Shaw), as well as a few new cast members like Game of Thrones alum Gemma Whelan. We can't wait to see how much the plot thickens with these additions come April 12. In the meantime, we'll be rewatching the action-packed trailer and theorizing about the mysterious season three photos ahead.

Yep, Eve is alive and, from the looks of that hefty backpack of hers, she's recovered nicely from that whole gunshot-in-the-back situation.

Mhm, that's Villanelle dressed up like a clown for likely yet another one of her undercover assassin missions. Talk about nightmare fuel.

Here's Eve casually butchering meat from some unknown reason. Perhaps she lands a new, non-spy job?

Put your finger in the air if you hope Eve doesn't end up trusting Carolyn and her shady ways again!

Oh man, we almost forgot about Eve's aloof husband, Niko. He'll likely still be spooked by Gemma's murder.

Welp, it looks like Eve does get back in cahoots with Caroyln after all.

Oh, and Villanelle's old handler Konstantin will be in the mix, too.

Villanelle is back and just as stylish as ever. According to EW, she'll be attempting to start a new life in Barcelona, although we have a feeling she'll be drawn to reunite with Eve along the way.
