"At first I was skeptical," Rachel Brosnahan said while describing James Corden's mashup of her beloved The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but then the Late Late Show host pointed out the many similarities Midge shares with superheroes: "They both speak truth to power, they both have memorable catchphrases, and they both have daddy issues." Thus, The Marvel's Mrs. Maisel was born.

In the ridiculous spoof, the quick-witted character interacts with the likes of Captain America and Thanos as Corden directs. "This film is my follow-up to Cats. I've got a reputation to live up to," he says at one point. "In hindsight, maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to base an entire big-budget blockbuster on a mildly clever, convoluted pun," Brosnahan adds. Well, they certainly give it their best shot. Enjoy it above.
