The Space Jam Soundtrack Is Still One of the Greatest Movie Albums of All Time

One of pop culture's most iconic moments came in the form of the Space Jam soundtrack. As The Last Dancereminds us, Space Jamgave us both Michael Jordan in a feature and some of the looniest, earwormiest tunes of all time. The plot of the 1996 classic is truly out of this world, culminating in a basketball match against invading aliens. But it all came together thanks to the biggest hip-hop and R&B songs of the '90s. Getting us pumped up for the final Looney Tunes game are hits such as "Hit 'Em High (The Monstars' Anthem)" and "That's the Way (I Like It)." We'd be remiss not to also mention the one-and-only "Space Jam," the film's catchy theme song.

Will the upcoming sequel's soundtrack live up to the music of its predecessor? We have high hopes for it, but for now, let's revel in some nostalgia. So come on and slam, and listen to the Space Jam soundtrack ahead!
