A Woman Turned Her Front Door Into a Full-Blown Cookie Monster — and I'm in Awe

There are few things in the world that give me more joy than seeing people go completely over-the-top while decorating for Halloween. And while slews of ghouls and goblins are certainly eye-catching, this woman's full-blown Cookie Monster display is certainly turning heads. Lisa Boll, a resident of York Township, PA, told an ABC News affiliate that she simply used blue spray-paint, vines, and styrofoam to get the effect.

A humungous Sesame Street fan, Lisa opted to honor one of her favorite characters for the show's 50th anniversary. Another added bonus for local parents? It's far from scary. Naturally, her yard is getting a ton of attention.

"It's surprising how many people get a big kick out of it," Lisa explained. "It's fun for Halloween and it's not a horror thing, so it appeals to kids under the age of 3. It's not scary."

As for the details, Lisa began by spray-painting the vines and plants that adorn the front of her house the color blue. She then cut pieces of styrofoam into eyes and giant cookies to finish off the setup. Watch the video above until the end to get a better look at her kid-friendly masterpiece.
