We Have Heart Eyes After Seeing the Fashion on The CW's Katy Keene

We all know that Riverdalehas incredible fashion, and its spinoff series, Katy Keene, doesn't disappoint. We've only gotten a few episodes, but we already like what we see. While each character has their own distinct style — Josie McCoy (Ashleigh Murray) always looks like a rock star, and Pepper (Julia Chan) is a modern-day Carrie Bradshaw — I can't help but get heart eyes whenever I see one of Katy's outfits. Of course, Katy's trendy fashion, created by Emmy-winning costume designer Jenn Rogien, shouldn't come as a surprise. The titular character, played by Lucy Hale, does design clothes for a living.

Just like the Archie comics the character is based on, the clothes Katy wears are always vibrant and fun. "There is a heightened feel to everything that Katy wears," Lucy told Entertainment Weekly. "She's very colorful. She's very bright. She's obsessed with sequins and hearts, and she rarely strays from pink and red. Her wardrobe is so much of who she is since she's an aspiring designer." Essentially, she looks like she's dressing up for Valentine's Day every day of the week.
