Betsey Johnson Gives Us All the Details on Her New Intimates Collab With Knix

Our editors were so excited to discover the latest intimates collaboration to hit the fashion scene — a Knix x Betsey Johnson collection. We love the idea of Knix's functional, comfy bras and underwear being combined with Betsey Johnson's colorful and statement-making prints. We were able to ask Betsey Johnson herself about her newest release.

"Knix was a natural fit as a partner as they allowed the Betsey Johnson brand to enter into an exciting new category, while staying true to the bold spirit of my designs," Betsey told us. "Customers now have a complete wardrobe to be worn outside, inside, over and under, and I couldn't be more excited to share the collection."

POPSUGAR: The prints are so bold and fun! Is there any specific inspiration behind them?
Betsey Johnson: I love the contrast of the prints used in this collaboration specifically. The perfect mix of pretty with a little bit of punk. The 'Flutter By' butterfly print is a classic, and I love seeing it reimagined in these designs!

PS: What's your favorite piece in the collection?
BJ: Oh, I love it all. The cozy Modal Sleep Sets and sexy Nightgowns might take the cake!

PS: How do you feel about Y2k fashion coming back?
BJ: I am grateful that my designs are being honored in the resurgence of Y2k trends . . . It was a fun time for fashion, or at least I had a lot of fun with it!

PS: Are there any particularly exciting design features in the collection you want readers to know about?
BJ: The functionality of the designs. My prints are eye-catching, and I do love them so, but features like the Leakproof underwear and wireless Luxelift Bra are incredible!
