"Good as Hell" by Lizzo
"Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C+C Music Factory
"Awesome beat, gets me moving and excited," Kayla G said. The song came out the year she was born, "plus really awesome memory of my Granny doing dance aerobics to it and it stuck with me."
"Cheap Thrills" by Sia feat. Sean Paul
"Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen
"As a runner, I identify with [this song] literally, but it applies to many aspects of life figuratively," Heidi S said. "Born to do something, we spend our lives running to figure it out, running towards something we want or away from something we don't want. It's also a classic starting-line anthem at races I've ran, and I can't help but feel those race day vibes when I listen to to it. I think of all the people I've waited at the starting line with, who put in the work running to get to that moment."
"Lose Control" by Missy Elliott feat. Ciara and Fatman Scoop
"Drop It Low" by Kat DeLuna
"Not Today" by BTS
OK, full disclosure . . . this one was my pick! "This song is so intense. I play it right before the steepest hills on my runs or the hardest circuit in HIIT workouts because it always gets me pumped up!"
