I'll be honest and say I was never really a workout shorts person. I love my leggings, and I will wear them any chance I can. Bike shorts? Forget about it. I hadn't thought they were very flattering on me, but when the temperatures rise, I have no choice but to ditch my leggings. When I set out to find great shorts I actually look forward to putting on, I turned to lululemon, and fell in love with two of the brand's bestselling choices.

I take long hikes and do strength training, so I need something lightweight and sweat-wicking that will keep me comfortable. I love the lululemon Wunder Train High Rise Shorts ($58) for all different kinds of workouts. I wore them this morning on a hike, and they kept me cool and comfortable in the heat. Plus, they're compressive enough to hold you in but light enough to still be flattering. I can do pretty much anything in these shorts, and they'll always be the right choice.

I'm also a huge fan of the lululemon Align leggings, so when I saw these lululemon Align Shorts ($58), I knew they had to be mine. Well, I was right; these shorts are buttery soft, and make you want to stay in them all day long. Since I work from home, that's exactly what I do. Wearing them makes it that much easier to motivate myself to go for an evening walk or post-work pilates session. If you're new to bike shorts and prefer low-impact activity, these are the ones I'd pick.

This summer, say yes to bike shorts you can live, lounge, and move in. Lululemon is always a go-to when it comes to workout clothes, and the brand did not disappoint here. On the contrary; I'm looking to shop a couple more colors.
