I Tried This Creamy Apple-Pie Smoothie With Coconut Milk, and It Tastes Like Fall in a Cup

Calendar seasons aside, my taste buds will never tire of fall flavors, especially when it comes to pie. Apple pie, specifically, is a dessert that sees most of its time under the spotlight during November when Thanksgiving rolls around. But one TikTok user gave the cozy treat a cool smoothie makeover that I can't wait to sip on all summer long. To create the creamy smoothie, TikTok user Bearenger Petrella (@bearenger) combined frozen apples, bananas, coconut milk, dates, and pie-themed spices for a drink that I can officially confirm tastes exactly like apple pie.
Like Bearenger, I topped my smoothie with a few fresh apple slices, coconut shreds, and a generous sprinkle of cinnamon. If you want to make this healthy dessert a little more indulgent, I would highly recommend topping it with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or even a spoonful of homemade apple crumble. Cozy Apple-Pie Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup frozen apple
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Pinch nutmeg
- Pinch salt
- 1 date (pitted)
- 1 cup coconut milk
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the apple, banana, date, coconut milk, vanilla, and spices to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Pour the smoothie into a cup and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon, coconut flakes, and apple slices (optional). Enjoy!
