If there was a contest for best homemade dessert, cookies packed with more cookies would win in my book. In a video shared to TikTok, user Karina Ark shared a supereasy recipe for Oreo cheesecake cookies that takes this dessert to a whole new level by adding cream cheese to the mix. The cookie-packed recipe only requires five ingredients, including a block of cream cheese and an entire pack of Double Stuf Oreos. So catch me whipping up a batch of these in my kitchen this weekend! If you're ready to make your house smell like the sweetest bakery you can imagine, here's what you have to do:
- Using a hand mixer, beat together eight ounces of cream cheese, two sticks of softened unsalted butter, and 1 1/2 cups of sugar until smooth. Then slowly beat in two cups of flour.
- Crumble 20 Double Stuf Oreos into large chunks, and fold the cookie pieces into the dough.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Once the dough is chilled, use an ice cream scoop to place the batter on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten out each ball of dough with the back of a spoon to help them spread before popping them in the oven to bake for 14 to 16 minutes.
