Fairmont's Barbie Cocktail Tastes Like a Tropical Dream — Here's How to Make It at Home

2023 is truly the year of Barbie, and Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, Canada, is getting in on the fun with their own signature cocktail. Fittingly called Pink Dreams, the Barbie-inspired drink is part of the Fairmont's exclusive collaboration with Mattel — and yes, it does, in fact, taste like a tropical dream.

The cocktail is currently only available at Fairmont's Nacarat bar, but it's easy to recreate at home. All you need is raspberry syrup, coconut cream, vodka, egg white, a cocktail shaker, and a coupe glass. And if you're feeling fancy, use a stencil to spray a Barbie logo on top of the egg white when you're done.

As part of Fairmont's partnership with Mattel, the hotel also recently launched its very own Barbie Dream Suite, exclusively available now until Monday, Sept. 30, 2024. It starts at CAD $1,499 per night for up to four guests.

The Fairmont's Barbie Pink Dreams Cocktail

INGREDIENTS

  • 0.50 ounces raspberry syrup
  • 1.5 ounces coconut cream
  • 1.5 ounces of vodka
  • 0.75 ounces of egg white

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pour the raspberry syrup, coconut cream, vodka, and egg white into a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds to create a good egg white foam.

  2. Unseal the shaker, add ice, seal again, and shake for 10 seconds to chill the cocktail.

  3. Double strain your cocktail into a couple glass.

  4. Spray a Barbie logo on top using a stencil. Enjoy!

Notes

For cocktail: pour all the ingredients into a shaker, shake with ice, and double strain into a coupe glass.
