Whoever said that Halloween is Fall's greatest celebration needs to be corrected. Oktoberfest starts this Saturday, and I don't know about you, but I couldn't be more excited. One of the world's largest funfairs, Oktoberfest has been a tradition in Germany for centuries, but in America, we get pretty excited about the excuse to eat and drink all things German. Even if you're not in Germany to celebrate, here's a collection of German dishes, pantry staples, and essential beers so you can enjoy Oktoberfest your own way.
