Starbucks Is Giving Out Free Reusable Holiday Cups Again, So Start Waiting in Line Now
Didn't snag one of Starbucks's free reusable holiday cups last year? Never fear, because the coffee chain is offering another chance to score one this week. On Nov. 7 — the same day Starbucks releases its four newest holiday-themed paper cup designs — any customers who order a signature holiday beverage (think: a Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate, or Eggnog Latte) will be given a red reusable cup, completely free of charge, while supplies last. The plastic 16-fluid-ounce drinking vessel earns you 50 cents off any grande holiday drink ordered after 2 p.m. between Nov. 7 and Jan. 7 — if you remember to bring it with you to Starbucks, that is.
Whereas last year's reusable holiday cups were simply red and featured a green Starbucks logo, the newest version is red with the phrase "Merry Coffee" written in festive white and green text on it. Considering the fact that some Starbucks locations sold out of the coveted cups in mere minutes the first time around, we suggest staking out your spot in line now if you have your sights set on taking one home. May the odds be ever in your favor!
