Joan Smalls is featured in the September issue of Elle Decor, and her airy Miami apartment will provide you with major decor inspiration. The 31-year-old supermodel told the magazine she wanted her space to feel "breezy, cool, and comfortable" to offset her hectic, jet-lag-filled lifestyle. She enlisted the help of RH, Restoration Hardware's Interior Design concierge-level services, to get the chic, beachy look she wanted.
The result is a relaxing hideaway amid sweeping views of Miami that has just the right amount of "stuff" but not too much. A cozy white couch here, a soothing painting there, and some simple flowers and bright-green plants to tie it all together; this is my kind of space.
