Introducing De la Editora, the Latine Newsletter That Brings Our Community Together

Lately, I've been reflecting a lot on the power of community — within Latine spaces, especially. In the face of so much happening in our country — politically, socially, economically — it's clear that, as always, our community continues to show up with heart, strength, and orgullo. That's why I created De la Editora, a monthly newsletter where you'll hear directly from me and get the latest on PS Juntos, our digital destination celebrating Latine culture, pride, and intersectional identities.

I wanted to create something that not only highlights the incredible work happening across our community but also provides a space where we can feel seen, heard, and celebrated. Despite the obstacles we're facing, we are resilient people. Like our ancestors, Latines always manage to find ways to lean into joy and celebration. Maybe it's blasting Bad Bunny's "Debí Tirar Más Fotos" on loop or gathering with loved ones over a traditional meal (like when I recently made Dominican spaghetti with tostones for my family). It could be finally brushing up on your salsa moves like you've been saying you would for years, or creating more art in a time when the world really needs it. Maybe it's simply checking in on your gente and finding small ways to build community in your own hoods and barrios.

This newsletter — featuring voices across the Juntos network and our favorite Latine celebs — is a space where our stories, struggles, and triumphs are front and center. I hope De la Editora inspires you to lean into our collective strength, embrace our heritage, and find moments of joy. Let's celebrate our resilience and remind ourselves that we matter — always.

Con Amor,

Jo
