Today in Delightful Pet News: The Bidens Are Getting a Cat to Bring to the White House
Along with their two German Shepherds, Champ and Major, the Bidens will be joined in the White House by a cat! Joe and Jill, who are bringing the first-ever rescue dog to the White House, will be the newest first family to have a cat since George W. Bush.
Jill first teased the idea of them getting a feline on Nov. 8, when she spoke virtually with Fox 5's Angie Goff. "I'd love to get a cat," she told Angie and her daughter. "I love having animals around the house." Then, on Nov. 27, the Bidens told CBS Sunday Morning that "soon they'll be joined by a cat."
We absolutely can't wait to see photos of big brothers Champ and Major with a small kitty friend!
