Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, 43, recently returned to the Victoria's Secret runway, where she's renowned as a seasoned pro. "Walking in the VS Fashion Show this year was so much fun. The energy on the runway was electric," she tells PS of the revamped experience that was staged for the first time in six years this October. "What made this year extra special was the chance to reunite with so many girlfriends that I had not seen for a while."
Of course, that's not the only project the busy mom-of-two and founder of beachwear brand Gal Floripa is focused on at the moment. Ambrosio has also partnered with Togetherband on the SOS Rio Grande do Sul bracelet, which supports climate action and is crafted from recycled ocean plastic and metal from illegal firearms by women from underserved communities in Brazil. "The proceeds go directly to the Brazilian Soul Fund, which I started along with friends after the devastating floods in the South of Brazil to support recovery efforts," Ambrosio explains. "This project means so much to me because it combines sustainability, empowerment, and giving back to a place that's very close to my heart."
In addition to modeling and her philanthropic work, Ambrosio is currently obsessed with cold plunges, which she describes as a game-changer for recovery, sauna sessions, and frequenting her at-home gym.
