How Paige DeSorbo Gets Ready, From Beauty Prep to Her Go-To Shoes

If you're a fan of "Summer House" or a certified giggler, then you know that Paige DeSorbo consistently delivers both the best one-liners and the best looks. Her quick wit and quips keep us entertained, but her style really puts her passion for fashion on display. That's why DeSorbo is partnering with DSW to curate her own spring collection of footwear for every style and need. Although her collection comes out on March 2, we got an exclusive interview with DeSorbo ahead of the launch and learned all about her current favorite trends, her tips on personal style, and much more.
DeSorbo's always trying out the latest trends, and currently, she's into a natural, skin-focused look that's glowy and dewy. "I love the fake freckles, and I like doing no eye makeup and just doing bronze around my eyelids," she says. As for fashion, she enjoys a good retro comeback. "If skinny jeans come back, I'm not mad about it, especially tucked into a boot. I wouldn't be offended by it. I fricking love a capri. I'm so glad those are back."
However, in a world of trends, DeSorbo still maintains her personal style. "I was born into the mob wife trend, so that's my go-to. I'll never not wear something leopard, whether it's in style or not," she says. DeSorbo edits her closet every six months and donates pieces that don't fit her vibe anymore. She stresses the importance of staying organized and knowing what you have in your closet, so you don't lose your own individual style.
When curating an outfit, DeSorbo picks her shoes first, a tip she learned from her mom. "A heel can just change your whole mood. There are times when I want to be sporty and have a cool sneaker, but then there are days when you have to put a heel on and remember who you are."

Paige DeSorbo's Beauty Essentials
DeSorbo preps her skin using the Rhode Glazing Milk ($32). The lightweight essence adds hydration to the skin with its calming ceramide-packed formula. Read more in our editor's review of Rhode's Glazing Milk.
She follows it up with First Aid Beauty Bronze and Glow Drops ($28). Formulated with niacinamide, these drops deliver an instant bronze glow while blurring the appearance of pores and evening out the skin tone.
DeSorbo also raves about Goop Beauty Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Lip Balm ($24) for keeping her lips hydrated. "I'm just trying to be more and more like Gwyneth Paltrow every day as much as I can," she says. This smooth and creamy lip balm is formulated with coconut, argan, castor, and jojoba oils, along with shea butter and pomegranate extract.
She also loves creating a defined eye with the Victoria Beckham Beauty Satin Kajal Eyeliner ($34) in black, noting that Beckham is a queen. This editor-backed eyeliner is long-wearing and waterproof with an opaque, pigmented color payoff.

Paige DeSorbo's Fashion Essentials
DeSorbo is indulging in the cozy season with a Toteme Boxy Alpaca Knit Sweater ($680). "It was a really big splurge, but I was like, 'I'll wear this every winter for the rest of my life,'" she says.
The key to creating the perfect outfit is finding the right fit, and safety pins ($6) are such a fashion necessity for DeSorbo that she carries a few with her at all times. "I also hem a lot of my own stuff with those stitch guns ($20). I'm obsessed with making things shorter," she says.
However, DeSorbo's most important fashion essential is her mom. "She picks out all my outfits to this day. I send them to her first, and she says yes or no. She's really an important part of the team."

Paige DeSorbo's Favorite Fragrance
DeSorbo's current favorite fragrance is Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum ($170), which she discovered on TikTok. "It just has a way of making you feel like a princess. And so I'll die in Prada," she says. It's a warm floral scent with notes of neroli bud, white amber, and white musk.

Paige DeSorbo's Go-To Footwear
Of course, given the upcoming DSW curation, we had to ask DeSorbo about her ideal footwear selections for whatever life throws at her.
For brunch in the city, she loves a cute metallic sneaker, like the Adidas VL Court 3.0 Sneaker ($75), which will be live in the silver iteration on March 2. "Something sporty but chic," she adds. If you're an in-office nine-to-five girlie, she recommends a kitten heel. And for a date? She loves a heel or even a heeled boot.
As for her go-to wintertime shoe: "I love an exaggerated, big, furry boot," she says. When the weather gets warmer and she's spending the day on a boat in the Hamptons, she's sporting a cute sandal. And when it comes to comfort, DeSorbo opts for a ballet flat, a loafer, or a sneaker, especially for travel. "I like a chunky dad sneaker."
Although most of us won't attend a reality TV reunion to rehash all the drama, DeSorbo has a few thoughts on her ideal reunion shoe. "They got to be sharp — as in, a pointy heel and toe because you never know."
