If you're still looking for a New Year's resolution or just a simple goal to hit in 2025, Ally Love has a suggestion. The Peloton instructor, Love Squad CEO, and TODAY Show contributor has one thing at the top of her task list for 2025: finish a lip gloss. "I have never in my entire life [done this]," she tells PS. But this year she's focused on what's realistically achievable, trading unsustainable resolutions for more doable action items.

In doing so, Love hopes that her goals offer up small joys and an even deeper appreciation for the present.

When you are conscious about finishing something as mundane as your lip gloss, it trickles down into other aspects of your life, Love says. "These are moments for you to show up, to be who you say you are. You say you're someone who will start something and finish it. I do that with my lip gloss," Love says. "I know it sounds so weird, but I am so excited."

With this mindset, it's no secret why Love was asked to join Ulta Beauty's Joy Council in an effort to bring more light and levity to the world in small, but very real ways. "Small things create a huge impact," Love says.

In the theme of small joys, we asked Love to share some of the must-have products and life hacks she uses when she needs an extra boost.

Contigo x Ally Love Stainless Steel Water Bottle ($35)

Hydration has always been a priority for Love, having coined the term "hydration station" during her Peloton rides to remind riders about the importance of drinking water during exercise, but also throughout the day.

To help riders reach their hydration goals, Love partnered with Contigo as their first-ever Chief Hydration Officer, creating a line of spill-proof and leak-proof water bottles (including the one you see above), Contigo x Ally Love Travel Mug ($35), and more. The line of bottles is offered in Licorice, Stellar Jay, and my personal favorite Oatmilk (the spotted print you see above).

Ulta Beauty Collection Beauty Spotlight Cream Eye Shadow ($10)

Love swears by this eye shadow stick that comes in 21 vibrant colors. This creamy formula offers a smooth application and can be used as a liner or for total lid coverage. The Today show contributor travels with it often as it's super compact and can be tossed into a purse, pocket, or toiletry bag with ease.

DIBS (Every) Body Face + Body Brush ($28)

Fortunately, Love's luxury pick is still very affordable. Under $30, the DIBS stick is Love's go-to for contouring, but can also be used for smooth product application all over the body (think: tanners, body oils, SPF). The brushes are also vegan and cruelty-free, so you don't have to sacrifice your priorities for glowy skin.

Post-it Notes ($7, originally $12)

Love relies on Post-it notes daily, keeping a stack on her window with affirmations, kind words, and motivational phrases.

"Identify one space in the place you're occupying, and call that your adult time-out corner," Love suggests "Maybe that's where you put your Post-it notes." Then, whenever it feels right to you (mornings or evenings), spend two to five minutes just breathing, decompressing, and reading a few post-its, Love suggests. It's been a game-changer for her mental health over the years.

Ally Love’s Nighttime Must Have

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Discovery Kit ($39)

Love says washing her face at night is a ritual of shedding the outside. For the fitness pro, the practice is less about taking off makeup and more about losing that layer of dirt from a busy day. To achieve that, she relies on this four-step routine, including a gel cleanser, toner, antioxidant serum, and hydrating cream.
