As the saying goes, "Like mother, like daughter." The Grande Dame of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Potomac" (RHOP), Karen Huger, and her daughter, Rayvin, both share a love for fashion, glamour, and art. It makes perfect sense that they are fixtures at New York Fashion Week.
The spring/summer 2025 season marks several consecutive seasons of the stylish duo attending shows together. They clearly enjoy this experience, often coordinating complementary looks. "It's such an honor to share my world with her and to stand beside her in her world as well," Rayvin tells PS.
A glance at either of their Instagram pages reveals countless posts of the duo sashaying through the streets of NYC on their way to shows like Luar and Alice + Olivia. Part of their jam-packed NYFW schedule included attending the fall/winter 2024 COS fashion show. With its minimalist maze set and collection of elevated wardrobe staples, Rayvin notes, "COS is so profoundly on the pulse of minimalist style. It never fails to shine in quality, and the tailoring of each piece looks good on everyone, no matter the occasion." The see-now, buy-now collection for the beloved retailer featured luscious wool coats, sleek tailored power suits, and a color palette of neutrals, navy, gray, black, and camel — an assembly of elevated everyday pieces.
When I'm piecing together a look, I focus on what excites me and play with color, pattern, and texture. I try to ignore trends in that moment. We don't have to look like what we did yesterday, and that puts the joy back into getting dressed.
"Shopping at COS always spells trouble for me, especially the outerwear; it's so chicly tailored," says Karen. From longline hooded camel coats to boxy structured blazers and a cow-print faux fur high-neck coat, this season's tailoring and outerwear were standout features, as pointed out by "RHOP"'s unofficial trend forecaster, Karen Huger. "I will say that the men's fashions stood out to me this season, but the black-and-white gown from womenswear is absolutely calling my name. It had such a feminine flow as it cascaded down the runway, screaming pure elegance." Rayvin, a fashionista in her own right (one look at her Instagram is like browsing a fashion blog), had her eyes set on one particular look from the runway: "I cannot get that gorgeous sheer high-neck look worn by Amelia Gray out of my head. That look is an absolute must for me come fall."
Since she first appeared on our screens (and in our hearts) nine years ago, Karen has captivated audiences with her flair for glamour and ever-evolving style. "Personal style is just that: personal. Dress to embrace your confidence, elegance, intelligence, and beauty, and it will always be a winner," Karen shares with PS. "My style is a direct reflection of my confidence," she elaborates. "I believe that in each decade of a woman's life, she has the right to express where she is." This season, she feels "bold and elegant with a feminine flair."
As for her fashionable daughter, Rayvin has some advice for finding one's personal style: "Give yourself permission to experiment. When I'm piecing together a look, I focus on what excites me and play with color, pattern, and texture. I try to ignore trends in that moment. We don't have to look like what we did yesterday, and that puts the joy back into getting dressed."
On the subject of "RHOP," the beloved reality show returns on Sunday, Oct. 6. What can fans expect from the Grande Dame this season? "I've been on 'RHOP' for nine years, and each year brings a new chapter for me," Karen says. "This season is full of fashion fun, family ties, business achievements, and exciting new life experiences. It has been such a beautiful journey, and I'm grateful to be in such a powerful and unique position to share my life in a way that only I can."
Karen and Rayvin continue to captivate us with their shared love for fashion. And who knows, maybe a reality show around the fabulous lives of the Hugers is next? Manifesting. Until then, keep scrolling for the stylish mother-daughter duo's must haves to pack for NYFW.

Leather Clutch
COS Cavatelli Clutch ($190)
One of the season's biggest trends, COS's oversize black leather clutch is a must for running around from show to show, says Rayvin. "You need a staple black bag for event season and I can't stress this enough. A bag big enough to hold all your tech and beauty goodies, but chic enough to elevate and pair with any outfit. The go-to black clutch in my rotation this week has been the COS Black Cavatelli Clutch."

Hydrating Mask
La Mer Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask ($195)
Amidst NYFW's busy schedule, Rayvin makes sure to prioritize self-care. "A big part of shining during the craze of NYFW is the time you take to relax, rejuvenate, and feed the soul," she explains. "My newest obsession is the La Mer Treatment Lotion Hydrating Mask. It is like having a fabulous spa treatment on the go and really restores and energizes the skin." The mask boasts micro-fiber technology and revitalizing ferment that work together to hydrate and replenish the skin.

Noise-Canceling Headphones
Apple AirPods Max Wireless Over-Ear Headphones ($450, originally $550)
Rayvin cites the Apple Airpods Max Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones as key to her daily meditation practice. "I've recently taken up meditation and it has been life-changing in helping me to approach my day with order and confidence," she reveals. "Starting each morning with a 20-minute sound bath meditation on my Airpods headphones has been imperative to attacking the rest of my day." While the active noise cancellation does indeed block outside noise, you also have the option of switching to transparency mode any time you'd like to hear what's going on around you.

"I can't live without my Canon G7X Mark III Camera," Rayvin shares. "It takes the perfect photo every time and is a game changer for content creators and vloggers due to quality. We are especially show-to-show this season, so it's been my number one in helping me to capture content on the go."
