Ryan Murphy's Adaptation of The Prom Will Drop in December — Meet the Star-Studded Cast

Ryan Murphy's movie adaptation of The Prom will be here before you know it! In an Instagram post on Sept. 13, Netflix revealed that the film will hit the streaming service on Dec. 11. The announcement came shortly after Murphy confirmed that filming had wrapped and gave a glimpse of the star-studded cast in costume on Instagram. From Oscar winners like Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman to Emmy winners like Kerry Washington, the adaptation of the Tony-nominated musical of the same name has everything you could ask for. The show made its Broadway debut in 2018 and follows four famous Broadway stars who try to help a young girl named Emma after learning that she has been banned from taking her girlfriend to her high school prom.
