These 25 New and Returning TV Shows Coming to Netflix in October Look Scary Good
Whether you want to get in as many scares in as possible in October or you would really rather avoid any creepiness at all, Netflix has got your back. The streaming service just released all the new and returning TV series coming this October, and it includes a perfect mix of crime, drama, comedy, and — of course — plenty of horror. For returning shows, you can expect to see a third season of Big Mouth, a fifth season of Peaky Blinders, and a whole lot more — as well as a bunch of new series that we can't wait to binge.

Big Mouth, Season 3
Voiced by an all-star cast of comedians that includes Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Jordan Peele, this raunchy animated series returns for a third season to bring more hormones, humiliation, and hilariousness.

Peaky Blinders, Season 5
Set in the aftermath of World War I, this British crime series offers a fictionalized dramatization of the real-life criminal gang based in Birmingham, and it's back for a fifth season, following the Shelbys as they deal with the repercussions of the 1929 stock market crash.

Raising Dion, Season 1
Based on a short film and comic book by Dennis Liu, this sci-fi series tells the story of a single mother attempting to hide the superhuman abilities of her son, Dion, which start to manifest following the death of her scientist husband (played by Michael B. Jordan). Jason Ritter will also star as Jordan's best friend and fellow scientist.

This supercontroversial comedy series is back for a second season, continuing the story of formerly overweight teen Patty (played by Debby Ryan) and her disgraced civil lawyer turned beauty pageant coach (played by Dallas Roberts) as they battle their inner demons and try to escape their past (which now requires covering up a murder).
