Meet the New and Returning Faces You'll See in Season 3 of Sex Education

After a bit of a longer hiatus than expected, Sex Educationseason three is officially on its way! Netflix shared a fun video announcement with the news, which also confirmed something else: which cast members we can be sure are coming back for the new season. All of our favorite main cast members are officially on board to return, along with a trio of additions playing intriguing new characters. The official release date isn't until Sept. 17, but while we wait for new episodes, you can take a look at the gallery ahead to find out now exactly who's coming back and who's joining the cast.

Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn
Butterfield returns as Otis, the often-awkward teenager at the center of the story.

Indra Ové joins the series as Anna, the foster mom of Elsie Wiley. For those of you who may not recall, season two of Sex Education ends with Maeve's mom, Erin, being taken away after Maeve notices that she's using again. As a result, Maeve's half-sister, Elsie, has to be taken into foster care.

Chinenye Ezeudu as Viv
Chinenye Ezeudu will be back in season three, continuing her role as Viv. Her character is introduced in the show's second season, and she quickly becomes good friends with Jackson (played by Kedar Williams-Stirling) after helping him with his career decisions.

Simone Ashley as Olivia
Simone Ashley, who's recently been confirmed to join Bridgerton's upcoming season, will in fact be returning to Sex Education for season three. Continuing her role as Olivia, one of Moordale High's resident mean girls, we're looking forward to seeing how her character changes.
